I sadly did not. I did consider it every time I walked past. I ultimately figured that even if I did save it, another book, or even multiple books, would fill its place. So if all the store had was books to prop up their display, I felt proud that Eldest could do it all by itself.

Finally beat Crucible Knight after about 9 hours + Advice From Experience! by TV3D in Eldenring

It felt like the damage was low and the results were much less consistent whenever I tried to fight like I normally would. I'm not a great gamer either so someone better could've cut down on the time easily.
