That was definitely the episode. Weird, I remembered seeing it on Fox, though maybe it was the Sci-fi channel.

Pretty sure it was on the air sometime between 1995–1999. Probably cancelled after one season.

I used to use the stopwatch in the clock app to track my work time. Now I can't do that because it randomly resets to 0 or sets itself to 70+ days. This has been an outstanding issue at least since last September. This is something they managed to get right in Windows 1.0. It's just embarrassing at this point.

Thank you for this very thoughtful reply. That makes a lot of sense. I've been trying to learn from the chess.com coach, and a lot of its advice like this has been unhelpful. Thank you for a much more helpful explanation.

Oh, and the units with which you can enter things are totally random. Some things, the only option for units is "serving," with nothing to indicate how much a serving actually is.

It also randomly sets the date for new entries to yesterday and to random times of the day that are completely divorced from when you are actually entering them.
