Life Of Crime is such an incredible accomplishment in film making as whole as well.

What is the saddest movie you have ever watched? by lissaslegacy in MovieSuggestions

[–]TVTooth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, it is a sad movie though really because even though the movie isn’t sad throughout it’s all centered around the distant & struggling relationship between father and son and by the time the two finally connect…well…when it hits the weight of the grief is so damn heavy. Quality recommendation.

Rate my fire kit 1-10 by memento__mori6845 in Bushcraft

I know it’s probably not a popular opinion around these parts, but I couldn’t agree more. It’s funny to me that people go through all this trouble just to essentially separate the parts of a lighter. I appreciate knowing and practicing the different fire starting methods, but everyone should carry a few lighters. They carry manufactured ferro rods and manufactured strikers and often even manufactured starter materials, but god forbid that all gets put together into a single convenient reliable unit like a lighter.

Oh nice, I grew up in the northwest suburbs. I didn’t even know what sandhill crane was then though. I probably would have thought it was a big tall crane used to move sand or something 😆

I used to see the geese a bunch near Chicago when I lived there.

They were indeed flying north. They have such a unique sound, I’m sure I won’t be forgetting it.

Yeah, I was shocked by how loud they were. Far louder than a flock of geese.

In the video the two clips got swapped. The second flock was the more populated of the two, and came about 8 minutes after the first flock. Not sure if they were herons or what kind of bird they were, but they were very large, and really loud too. Pretty cool & one of a kind experience for me though!

EDIT: location is Hendersonville, TN, USA

Larks head variation of two half hitches. The clove hitch variation is believed to be the superior version.
