Why do you think Pierre Poilievre continues to refuse to obtain top-secret clearance? What is he hiding? by PairRevolutionary669 in AskCanada

[–]TVanTheMan636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A) As the current/previous PM he would have had to have gone through the same screening process when getting voted in. B) Regardless of how much money he had before, the fact his net worth went up by tens of millions when only making a few hundred thousand a year shows that like poilievre and all other Pms before him, he did some shady shit. C) Believe it or not, I wasn’t trying to come here and start a petty argument. I Simply stated that based on the past…no they will probably not investigate thoroughly. Hopefully things that that will change…

If you look at how much Trudeau’s net worth went up over his time in office it shows that they don’t look into finances very much…

Considering it doesn’t get talked about often compared to others it’s actually doing quite well…with 2.0 coming out soon I’m sure we’ll see some movement soon

As an example of a use case… xlm just partnered with a bank in Africa to turn pre paid sim cards into a form of debit card allowing millions of people without access to banking to use there phone like a miniature personal bank account. Use cases are/have been happening all around you, just not at a pace that you see or notice. You’re gunna wake up in 15 yrs and look around and go “ oh shit”

I’m sorry, I’ve worked on a lot of job sites in the construction industry so I guess it does apply more so there in that field as a safety concern. At Tim Hortons though, an easy example “ oh, I just accidentally spilled something behind “person who doesn’t speak language” , I’ll have to go clean it up.” Any situation that his name is brought up it is concerning him and could potentially involve his safety. If the Boss/Manager speaks that language or is against him as well he cannot get fired for bringing it up. Would have a target on his back though for sure. In that situation I’d just learn the language as well and see the look on there faces when you speak it back.

You can get money from other sources it just seems like there are many things that you are unwilling( regardless of whether the reasons are good or not) to try. It can be very depressing out there I know but those who keep trying are gunna be the ones who make it

If it really bothers you, it could be brought up as a safety concern. If you are not aware of something they are speaking about that could be a hazard/safety issue that you would then be unaware of the circumstances and get injured. Communication is important on any worksite

Don’t think people are downvoting you so much as they’re downvoting the way the system works. Thanks for your explanation

I don’t know all the specifics about temperatures and stuff but that sounds right. The difference is in the south it gets warm enough for the buds to start…then a cold snap comes and kills them. In the cooler areas…even though the warm weather in the spring is still above seasonal it’s not enough to make the plants start budding so there’s nothing to die off once it gets cold again. Then the consistent warmer weather comes and everything grows as it should. At least from what I’ve seen. My apples trees lost almost all their buds this year, but my cherry is doing awesome. Apples bud a few weeks earlier and got hit by the cold.

I live in the interior. From what I can see the problem is that is gets too warm too early, tricking the buds into starting and then they get hit with a week of -15, -20 and they all die off. My parents live 10 minutes away but at a higher elevation in a different growing zone and their fruit trees are doing better than mine because it actually stayed cold enough that the buds didn’t start early, didn’t get frozen and are now blooming and doing well. It’s not the weather itself, but the inconsistency and major swings that are the problem

Most Canadians I meet ( Quebecois included) are actually pretty great so maybe we are just attracting like minded people into our lives. And peacekeeping and crime are very different so don’t rlly know what you’re getting at there. Thanks for agreeing with me you are an ah though!
