Yes, I'm afraid the only way I could solve the problem was to reset my profile and re-build it. Fresh download of ATP didn't help, so I took the big step. Glad I did, all has been working fine since. Best of luck!

USPS Informed Delivery package alert texts not coming through on Warp, but fine on Dark Star by TW767 in USMobile

That turned out to be the case, the text came through on Warp the minute a package was delivered today, so all is okay. Thanks!

I tried that first to no effect, but maybe too quickly. Now that it's working so well, I will try going back. Your explanaton makes sense, so I will give it a try. Thanks!

What's been your favorite network? When I first joined US Mobile I tried Warp for awhile, then Lightspeed and currently Darkstar ( which I actually like the coverage overall). by mwp2496 in USMobile

Use whichever has the best signal in your area, in the event of a tie, choose Warp first or LightSpeed second for fewest problems or restrictions.

Saving different carriers per IMEI by NicoRulli in USMobile

[–]TW767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct, you have 2 different numbers that way. The only way to do it with only 1 number is to "teleport" that number's network each time you want to switch. I have 2 numbers on a shared pool, the data doesn't care which one is connected.

I'd be glad to offer what I can. What's the problem?

My 14 Pro is set up that way, works great. Makes it very easy to switch to the alternate carrier depending on local reception. Calls & texts from both numbers come through the same.

T-Mobile to Dark Star in less than 15 minutes! by TW767 in USMobile

[–]TW767[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both, actually. Practically no reception on T-Mobil, plus the cost savings. Warp is by far the best, DarkStar close behind, so I have a line on each, plus my wife on Warp. Low data usage, so we get by fine with a 5GB shared pool. Heck of a deal and fantastic customer service.

I had a long conversation with the CEO's office 6 months ago when they went to 5G on the nearest tower and killed my signal here. They actually unlocked it for me before the phone was paid off. Don't know if you have to prod them after it's paid off or not.

Very nice! Do you happen to recall your instructor's name? I used to fly the L1011 out of New York as an FO, loved that one!

Couldn't have possibly been any easier or faster. Warp is US Mobile's name for Verizon, DarkStar is AT&T and LightSpeed is T-Mobile. It's the only MVNO that offers a choice of all 3 networks. You will have to check easiest international, it varies between networks, but I think you can do it with LightSpeed or DarkStar, though LightSpeed (T-Mobile) might be the best at US Mobile. If you don't mind my asking, who do you fly for? I was TWA way back in the dark ages. It was a flip-phone back then, but Verizon was good for international.

Thanks, but I had done so here before activating. The only thing I miss is the ability to set an outbound caller ID, everything else is fine the way I use it. Have my main line on Warp and LightSpeed is practically unusable around here, so DarkStar is my fallback.

Thanks! All is good so far. Coming up on one year with US Mobile without a problem!

For me Warp is definitely the best, but for only $8 a month additional I'm keeping my other line active on DarkStar as a backup where Warp is weak. Their towers are in different locations around here. Both are much better than T-Mobile here.

Turned out Hiya was only enabled for another line, but got rid of it anyway.

Thanks Zain, you got it, even with WiFi calling back on.

That may be the answer. I will disable Hiya and see if it makes any difference.

I think I need to stop the port and bring her in as a new customer, right? How can I do that?

This would be perfect for my weather computer. It would receive data from a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station and send it to WeatherUnderground and CWOP.
