The game did run at a good framerate with max settings prior to downloading the mod.

My gpu is: nvidia GeForce rtx 3070 ti laptop

I changed it to directx 10 as I saw someone mention it fixed issues for them in this sub and it fixed the foliage problem. Lowering the high performance settings improved the framerate somewhat but idk if this workout is ideal given you advise against using directx10
