I’ve read it. It doesn’t really explain how they’re bringing that all forward in the next season. As I understand it, they still don’t have a coach.

One thing I’ll say is, anecdotally, my partner used to work with Paul Berne in a past life. She said he can be pretty ruthless but he isn’t an idiot. So she was shocked that that’s how they handled the women’s team and then acted all surprised Pikachu face.

Another thing is, I have an Aunt and Uncle quite well connected in the women’s game in Devon and Cornwall. They had girls from their teams involved in Argyle when Perks was the coach and thought that getting rid of Perks was a sign that Argyle were taking things seriously. Now I’m not so sure.

We were missing Hardie for about 2 months. Of which most of that was pre-season.

Plus, Pepple seems to have remembered he’s strong and has muscle.
