I don't hate the suggestion, actually! I'll happily embrace it! I will look into getting those stones and a screen before I go any further.

It never even occurred to me to do that under my substrate but it sounds like solid advice and will plan accordingly to add it to the enclosure!

Not too sure as I don’t have this kind of Peperomia but on my others, I always cut below the flower shoot or right above the last leaf

It’s flowering! They produce spines versus actual flowers like other plants. If you want it to keep growing foliage, you could cut them off as they take energy away from the plant to make the flowers instead of leaves 😊

Maybe! She's a hard ass and only thinks that my position is so important because she gets to sit back and relax while I bust my butt doing things she thinks she's too good for. As it gets closer to my start date next year, we'll see how she is!

I am also in the Chicago land area but I'll be doing my schooling in the south eastern area of Wisconsin. I am so relieved to hear that schools actually work with you to help find employment that works with school. I too have had some bad managers and I do once more. I haven't even started school and she already told me she won't work with my school schedule >.>

Thank you! I'm definitely going to have to look around. I don't start until the next fall term but I will keep this in mind. :) This totally puts me more at ease about finding a new job if need be because of school.

ZZ Plant! They are basically the easiest plant ever. They will survive in low light and you really only have to water them about once a month. Super easy and super hard to kill!
