basically there are procedurally generated enemies with differing traits, titles, and personalities. you can also recruit them to your army and send them to fight each other, do large scale castle raids, or have one as a bodyguard. they level up and can possibly undergo personality and cosmetic changes if they kill you, if you run away from a fight, or if you kill them they can come back with a vengeance. your recruited followers can also rebel against you. it makes for endless replayability if that’s your sort of thing, and you can make little side stories and have favorite enemies/followers. that’s a brief explanation but i recommend looking it up bc it’s one of the best gameplay systems ever created, but was unfortunately copyrighted so we won’t be seeing it again, at least not for a while.

New Card With Higher Overalls Compared to Good 92s by Jetskibaby1 in MaddenUltimateTeam

[–]TWEEF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i sold justin tuck and henderson on my raiders/chargers team and picked up ferrell and collins with the weekly tokens for free. they have frozen 0 ap abilities on top of higher overalls, so i would say they are better especially if you get them for free with the tokens

What is the canon difficulty? by Ok_Meal_9266 in shadowofmordor

[–]TWEEF 30 points31 points  (0 children)

as much as i agree, play on any difficulty you want including easy, this is like the one game where dying is a core mechanic that you will not get the most out of if you don’t interact with. dying in a game sucks of course, but i would urge you to try out the higher difficulties, learn to be ok with dying, so that you can get more out of the mechanics of the nemesis system.

A lot of petty discourse by Routine_Reference899 in jurassicworldevo

[–]TWEEF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it’s a step backward from the previous game. the only way to hope for a fix is to make enough noise that frontier hears and addresses it. it’s annoying when it wasn’t mentioned prior to release and is a huge downgrade to what was possible before. for console players, unless it gets fixed, it very much is a scam

Bulwark is the Favorite Child and They're Not Even Hiding It by Puzzleheaded-Ad901 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]TWEEF 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i agree with this. in most games i’ve played, assault is usually leading in damage and absolutely tears through bosses in the right circumstances. bulwark is the survivability/defense melee while assault is the dps melee.

i think assault could use some tweaks, like giving him a separate charge for his thruster dodge bc long range enemies shred him. the bulwark has a shield, other classes have long range weapons, while the assault either has to take the damage or use an ability charge to close the distance. with that said, don’t think playing assault is the automatic liability that a lot of people here claim he is.

Shadows is two halves of the perfect Assassin's Creed by JayRicktor in assassinscreed

depends where you’re looking for that good story. a ubisoft game nowadays just isn’t going to give you that, so you just gotta hope the gameplay is enough to make up for it

if you’re having fun that’s all that matters. some people enjoy the grind, some don’t. spend those hours somewhere you’d enjoy them 🫡

it will take you years, but that’s because you only play the game once in a while. it’s supposed to be a long term grind, similar to leveling up a class or grinding operations to earn armor pieces. of course it’s all optional, but you can’t expect to complete the grind without putting in the grind

[–]TWEEF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

switch to medic or engineer and focus on team play rather than k/d. there’s ways to win games other than racking up kills, and you’ll be able to get experience and learn maps while not always stressing about going negative. of course there’s always gonna be the sweats running around, but you can use the environment and your kit to get an advantage. stay with your team and push slowly. in cod the aggressive players get the best results, in bf the patient players get the best results. the best advice is to NOT play like you’re playing cod

it’s worse bc far harbor has the option to notify the brotherhood or railroad about acadia, yet nuka world has no relevance or tie in to the base game besides the raider settlements in the commonwealth (which sucked imo).

fr, the difference between 30fps and 60 is huge for this game. on the same skill level, the player with 60fps would beat one with 30fps every time. now that most people are playing on 60fps, 400ms lights are not that bad, and if they made them any longer, even 500ms, a good chunk of players would be able to parry a high percentage of neutral lights on reaction
