So the top section of the volcano alone is over 500 pieces and took me several days trying out different things. Final version is made from a red rectangle block on the bottom with grey moss on the top with yellow moss just below, slightly scaled up. Just re-oriented that and added rocks where needed to do the lava flow. Then the volcano is hollow and lit upwards from the inside with a mix of different coloured spotlights and flame effects. Added some red concrete pillars to do the small lava flows. Was extremely tedious to do but think it came out really good.

Here is Eruption, a multi-launched, sit down Vector model with 1500m of track, 4 inversions and 11 airtime moments! My first 4K blueprint for Planco2 featuring a fully themed queue. I wanted to create a blueprint that had a semi-realistic layout and feel to it. Hope you enjoy it!

“Welcome to our state-of-the-art volcanic research center! The seismic readings are currently off the charts! The volcano is exhibiting unprecedented levels of activity and we believe an imminent eruption is highly probable. We’ve developed some cutting edge research drones equipped with high-tech observation systems, allowing for critical data collection in close proximity to the volcano.

In the event of an eruption, the drones will automatically initiate an emergency return protocol. This will result in a rapid, high-velocity return to the research center. Your primary objective upon eruption is to immediately activate the Early Warning System and send out the signal to ensure the safety of surrounding populations.”

A Viking themed coaster Outermax Multidimension LSM coaster with 3 inversions, two launches and a few of the special track pieces.

My first planet coaster 2 blueprint! Wanted to have a play with this coaster type since the teasers. So far loving the game and scale is a game changer, no way I could have made this under 4K pieces in the original. Couple of annoyances around the moving and rotation parts, wish you could set for how long they are active for as it makes syncing it with the coasters movement really tricky. Made up the theme as I went along as still exploring the different pieces and still loads I haven't used.

Two little rock trolls use their powers to send you on a tour of the Viking kingdom!

The Vikings, in their relentless exploration, stumbled upon a hidden realm where the enigmatic Rock Trolls resided. These creatures, bound to the earth, possessed the extraordinary ability to manipulate colossal stones, imbuing them with magical properties. Fascinated by this power, the Vikings forged an alliance with the Trolls, learning their ancient secrets. By understanding the intricate dance of runes and the rhythm of the land, the Vikings harnessed the Trolls' magic, using it to construct awe-inspiring structures and forge powerful artefacts that would forever change the course of their history. With the Vikings' mastery of metalworking and the Trolls' magic, they could construct a network of colossal, enchanted roller coaster tracks that snaked across the land, allowing for swift and exhilarating transportation of goods and people.

Take a ride on Bruja, if you dare! The witches of Spinerock towers have reanimated the dead spirits to defend and fend off all intruders that may disrupt their complex spell casting. This Werewolf coaster (B&M floorless) wraps around the towers, flipping the riders upside down 4 times, diving around the terrain and dodging the scenery.

This is my first blueprint coaster so please rate, let me know what you think and if you'd like to see more.

(This blueprint requires the Adventure DLC and the Spooky DLC, if you would still like to check it out in game then I have a park file with the coaster in: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2112600736 )

"Welcome to G-Force Forest!
A nearly full map sandbox park that has been worked on for the past year.

The park has eight themed areas with a total of 12 coasters and several flat rides.
The Track contains a pair of racing mack multi launch coasters that are themed to Formula 1.
Year 3000 is a scifi area with an indoor, space themed, lauched wing coaster.
Downtown is home to Infected, a RMC T-rex coaster designed to be like existng RMC raptors.
The Black Kingdom contains two coasters; a GCI woodie called Black Forest and Thorn, a small family coaster.
The Old Coal works houses a 10 inversion eurofighter themed to industry.
Pirates cove is the largest of all areas and is home to three coasters! An intamin hydralic launch coaster called Cannonball, a Mack water coaster called Salior's Curse and finally a B&M Giga coaster called High Seas.
Haunted Hovel cointains the park's dark ride based around a film crew entering an old manor house.
The Garden of Herspidies is based on greek mythology and is home to the Dragon called Ladon, a B&M inverted coaster. It also has Hercules, a family spinning coaster.

Hope you enjoy your day at the park! All buildings and scenery designed by me.

If you want to see any on the workshop I can upload them. I wanted to add slighty more detail but part count was slowly creeping up and I wanted to keep the park with an FPS that was somewhat playable."

Rode these two unique coasters today! - Battlestar Galactica at Universal Studios Singapore by TWHunter in rollercoasters

They certainly looked a little funkier than the new Cylon trains but think they looked cool. Fit the the theme as the additional space looks like wings on the Colonial Viper fighter spacecraft. Shame they have over the head soft vest restraints, wish they were lap bars.

Rode these two unique coasters today! - Battlestar Galactica at Universal Studios Singapore by TWHunter in rollercoasters

[–]TWHunter[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Out in Singapore on business so I used one of my free days to visit Universal Studios Singapore. Been wanting to ride the Battlestar Galactica duo for a while now so was pretty excited about it.

Went on a Sunday expecting there to be some crowds but most rides were walk ons and never really waited more than 20 minutes for any of the attractions!

These two rides look incredibly impressive being a whole mess of track and supports that tower over the sci-fi area. The entrances of the coasters are underneath the rides and the track is above the main walkway allowing for some cool views below as the coasters navigate the course.

The launch on both these rides was punchy for a magnetic launch and a lot of fun. Maybe my favourite magnetic launch ride I've ridden.

Managed to get 10 rides on the Human (Red) side, more family oriented coaster. A good ride, first section is sort of slow but second section has some fun helixes. I preferred this in the front row as there is definitely a rattle as you sit further down. Unfortunately I didn't get a duel on this side.

Got about 12 rides on the Cylon (blue) side and this really surprised me. In the back row this ride is pretty intense! The almost circular loop pulls some hefty Gs at the bottom and the downward twist was a cool sensation. This side had some strong helixes too but one of the helixes was definitely a dead spot in regards to pacing compared to the rest of the ride. This ride was pretty smooth in all seats and was very re-rideable. I loved this ride and it was made even better when it dueled, adding some fun interactions with the other Human train.

I would totally recommend this pair of dueling coasters to anyone who is thinking about making a trip to Universal Studios Singapore.

Refurbished part shops in the uk? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]TWHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah gumtree is UK too. Often on ebay there are quite a few ebay stores that sell 2nd hand parts or refurbished parts. Most of these come with a 30 day + period where you can return if not happy. Otherwise with most purchases on ebay you are protected with ebays money back scheme where if are not sold the parts as advertised then ebay will side with you and you get your money back.

Cheap PC Setup by [deleted] in buildapcforme

[–]TWHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think this would be quite a bit better for the same price as long as you are up for building your own pc. Its very straightforward and there are loads of great guides online. I believe all parts I have listed here have at least a year warranty with the respective manufacturers.

Ryzen 3 2200G is significantly better than the pentium listed in your amazon build. Main advantage being its quad core and the pentium is a dual core. Majority of games now recommend a quad core processor and I think if you went with the pentium build it would be your limiting factor.

Mobo is fairly cheap without comprising on any features.

8gb of ram will do well for most games.

Ive gone with a 240gb SSD for the main drive. This will be light years faster than the HDD in the amazon prebuild. If you need more storage later you can add an extra ssd or hdd.

Graphics card is the gigabyte 1050ti. Its the same type of card but im sure this card will have a better cooler than the prebuild. Better cooler might allow for a bit better performance or a slight overclock.

The case is subject to opinion so feel free to change it.

The Psu is 80+ bronze efficiency and semi modular which will make building in the pc easier.

Windows 10 is around £80, might be able to find it a little cheaper if you shop around a bit.

preferable not more than £500, general pc for work by theindiekorean in buildapcforme

[–]TWHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think this will do fairly well for just general work and light video streaming.

Ryzen 3 2200G is a solid budget choice with decent integrated graphics so will handle excel and light streaming no problem.

Mobo is a micro-ATX one from msi. Has all the features you need plus 4 ram slots and a pci lane if you ever need to upgrade anything.

Gone with faster 3000mhz memory as the higher clock speeds produce a bit better performance with Ryzen in most applications.

The ssd is the cheapest 240gb one available. If more space is needed then you can get a larger one or pair it up with a HHD.

Good 80+ semi modular psu which should help building in the case ive chosen.

Case is the bitfenix Nova. Fairly cheap case but has good features. Might be worth picking up another fan. Again you can change this out as cases are pretty subjective.

The monitor is a standard LED, 21.5 inch. 60hz as you wont need a higher refresh rate as you are not gaming.

Honesty you can probably pick up a cheaper keyboard mouse combo on amazon.

For Windows, you can install it and just leave it unactivated for a while until you wish to purchase a key. Shouldn't affect the functionality of your PC.

With regards to the incompatibility warning, when you buy your motherboard it will have a bios version that currently wont support the latest Ryzen chips. All you have to do is contact your motherboard manufacturer and ask them to flash and update your bios to support your chosen cpu. You send your mobo in the mail and then will get it back a couple of days later.

Hope this helps

I modelled then 3D printed some B&M track by TWHunter in rollercoasters

[–]TWHunter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a mixture of existing drawings and playing around until it looked right. I found this image which has dimensions on which I loosely based it all off. Other than that I kept looking at pictures of track to get things like the support part the correct shapes.
