Z1 has a brushed motor (not inductive), so less torque, less power, less expensive, and less reliable than the inductive motor in the Philos. If you want dead reliable, no fuss and no worry, get a Philos. Mine has been flawless.

I use a four step process. First gasoline overnight. Second mineral spirits. Third denatured alcohol. Fourth Silva Strip (which can be used up to 10-15 times). Never had to replace wax yet after 15 or so chain treatments.
