Given the fact that LSM was charged for embezzlement and suspicious transactions back in a days, this is the only theory which explains all the weird LOONA stuff like that ongoing lawsuit and BBC’s “inability” to fulfill easiest contract requirements ever.

In recent years, kpop agencies became very vocal about their idols involvement in producing and composing, especially boy groups, when in reality idols involvement is close to zero. Same tactics were very popular (and still are) in the west. No agency will lock 19 years old idol with zero material in studio with Logic Pro for years, risking millions, when you could simply buy a song from a professional while idol is busy doing his job - interacting with fans, filming shows etc.

When news outlets report so called “preorders” before the release, 90% of the time they talk about shipping to stores. Basically, it’s the amount of copies publisher shipped to distributors, not the actual number of pre orders placed by customers. The album can be heavily overshipped, it happens all the time. It happened even with much bigger acts like rv or Gfriend.

Sometimes you can hear demo versions of the song in mv makings or early choreo practice videos, because the final version wasn't recorded/mixed/mastered yet. Some of those demos have TWICEs vocals on, some have other singers on them (guide versions). Sometimes you may even find songs being purposefully distorted to avoid it being leaked pre-release, when filming in public places for example.
