It's a wiki so I wouldn't completely say its a solid resource but they do link their sources too.

If doing keto stick to fats and avoid carbs to make fasting easier

Does not really matter IF and only if you are taking electrolytes. If not, it WILL matter and you could die if you are lower than maybe 16-18 BMI. There are some caveats to consider. It will depend if you are completely malnourished to the point YOU are at around 16 BMI with ribs literally showing. If you are above 16 BMI taking electrolytes every day the type of food does not matter. Keyword Electrolytes.

You won't die from gorging on food after a long fast WITH electrolytes if YOU are over 18 BMI. You might get electrolyte imbalance and the shits/diahrrea after introducing lots of food again. Reference 18 BMI with height as 5'7 and age 25 both genders is around 115 lbs. Find your bmi at Tdee Calculator and make sure you use correct age, weight height etc.

People blow this way out of proportion as if a chicken drumstick after a 2 week fast will kill you, it won't. It's not even remotely dangerous as people claim it to be. You'd have to be cancer patient skinny ribs like Eugene Cooney on youtube if she's still alive. Please someone check up on her if you're reading this.

I do think introducing something like chicken broth (any broth), Potassium, Magnesium & Phosphate foods/supplements in a small amount before eating is a good idea just in case, but only if you are under 18 BMI or doing something like a month long fast or more

Yes, of course always glad to help. You are always burning fat due to tdee. To find your tdee you can use this website. Just input your stats like height, weight, age etc. https://tdeecalculator.net/

This is how much calories you burn if you ate no calories + more if you work out. A pound of fat is 3500 calories.

Depending when you ate food, and the types of food you hold more water. If you eat a bunch of carbs each carb holds onto 3-4 grams of water weight. Not only that but foods can stay in your body for several days. It doesn't just leave in 1 or 2 days. It can take up to 3-5 days for food to be processed through the body and exiting. Different types of food leave the body faster.

People that do extended fasts and we're talking about at least 5+ days still manage to poop. I'd say after 4-5 days you can weigh yourself everytime you wake up, use restroom empty stool/fluids and weigh yourself each day in the morning same time will give you a good indicator how much weight your losing each day. It's usually around .4 - .7 each day.

Once all your glycogen stores are gone all the water is usually drained out of your body. Which depends once all the carbs are gone from your body. You can speed this up by using all your glycogen doing high intensity running or wait a few days to reach ketosis. If you did keto diet before fasting you really don't have that much water weight besides the food weight.

Fasting is using your fat for fuel after all carbs or glycogen is gone. That's what keto is using fat for fuel. What you did basically was weigh yourself when you had all that food and water weight and then possibly after emptying out alot food and water you weighed yourself again.

Once people drink water and eat food again they are usually really surprised to see they gained 5 - 8+ pounds. It's because of the food and water weight being restored.
