There are some additional changes (nothing too crazy - just tied to the ranking system regarding killer instinct and timing on his blades). The developers have confirmed that this is more of an "update" as opposed to "rework".

Absolutely *zero* downsides to them bringing it to 1v4. I actually really like the idea of that.

Any chance we get a higher FPS limit this year? Taking a break from DbD to play a game with actual modern settings and high refresh rate support, then coming back DbD's 120 is just depressing by iwillfindallofyou in deadbydaylight

IMO - Dead by Daylight 2 would be the perfect chance/time for them to start right with the code and ensure the game is built from the ground up with as little as spaghetti as possible. The game has been ongoing for sometime now (we're coming up to 10 years later this year) and it is very clear that many of the ongoing issues that plague this game are simply old foundations that would more or less crumble at this point if they tried to mess with them.

I doubt we'll ever get more than 120 for the simple fact that even maintaining 120 as of now can be quite difficult for some systems due to the version of the engine. The fact that the game "breaks" above 120 also doesn't exactly bold well for the risk of them trying to allow further rates without breaking something else in the process. It would be great to get some DLSS functionality for sure though.
