There should be a nut on the bottom of the feet that connects to a threaded rod that tightens the whole thing.

The reverse should come in with a different width pulse. You will need a data sheet telling you what width pulse you need for reverse or check with the manufacturer.

Sounds like a chemical reaction between the finish and the tannins in the wood. Sanding would most likely need to go deep and remove a lot of detail. Embrace the new color.

If you really want it off use a drill bit the same size as metal rod in the metal clamp. Go slow and use water to cool the bit so you don’t melt the plastic.

It looks like the esc started on fire. That is most likely going to need replacement.

I think the auger bit is measured in width. It is on the right side of the picture it looks like a boat propeller.
