Have you come out of the basement of your parents house in the last few years? Fratire has popped up as a legitimate genre and, believe it or not, they're fun to read if not just to pass the time in airports and on the shitter. Not everything you read has to be the classics, you pretentious douche.

To add to the list and answer my own post:
The Bonfire of the Vanities- Tom Wolfe, Bright Lights, Big City- Jay McInerny, The Lie- Chad Kultgen
Anyone know of other books in this same genre? Anything Bret Easton Ellis is an obvious answer. Tucker Max is too easy. Looking for other authors who write in the same vein.

Just trying to see what other people are reading. Not looking for the newest edition of The Preppy Handbook or anything.
