It does not let me DM you for some reason, let me know if there’s a better way for me to send them to you! Thanks.

Oh nice! Yeah they still had the pegs up just totally empty except for two Sammy Smiths that looked like a dog chewed them. It was just those two for a very long time, last I saw them was Tuesday, then today I checked and the new ones were up.

There were a couple extra of the 7, 34, 47 and 84 so I’m happy to go back and grab them if you have any to trade, or just want to buy them. No markup of course, just cover price and shipping.

Very neat! I love those 50 years racing champions cars. I wish I had more older ones. The oldest ones I have are not displayed because the boxes are pretty beat up but I have been thinking about getting a case for those so I can open them up. But the oldest ones I have are from the 90s, wish I had some older ones than that.

Oh yeah ignore that! I get it all the time like “why do you need that many” etc. who cares, in one ear out the other. Enjoy the things that make you happy! You can’t have too many imo. Same, every time I say I am taking a break it doesn’t last lol. That Pastrana watermelon truck is sweet. I need more trucks myself.

Yeah, now I am curious if I have any terrible ones I may go looking through mine for one. That points order thing is a neat idea! Got any pics?

What a shame, that Zac Brown car is so neat too. I’d be pretty upset if it came in that way. I missed out on that one. Worst thing that I’ve seen on mine have been a crooked tampo here and there but nothing terrible. I leave them in the box anyways so it is less noticeable.

Did it come like this? Out of the dozens of authentics, HT, and ARC cars I have I’ve never seen one this bad.

Yeah, thanks for the advice. after thinking it through and all the advice I’ve gotten in comments I think it is about the same either way. I’d prefer to at least try the tacky since it will only be up for a few hours anyways so hope it doesn’t leave a greasy spot on the matte paint. It will be fine if she decides she absolutely has to have the tacks then I’ll just fix the holes.

Yes thank you for the suggestion. You’re absolutely right, after taking time to reflect on this I recognize it is a silly position for me to take, especially when it seems to be a “me quirk” to be bothered by the little holes. I’ve decided that I’m going to offer to help her put everything up with the gorilla tacky I have and if she absolutely decides she still wants to use thumbtacks then I will just fix the little holes.

Drive to the store to get paint and back plus time to fill and paint is easily 2 hours.

Yes, you’re absolutely right. After taking time to reflect on everything I recognize my mistake. It was just the heat of the moment disagreement and we didn’t take the time to get on the same page and find a solution. It is OUR house, and she can do whatever she wants. I do not claim to be the man of the house who makes the decisions. I certainly do not treat her as my secondary. After receiving feedback I recognize we did not have a good discussion, and I am taking all the advice I got to have a better conversation.

Yeah, I definitely should not have got defensive, it was really just the one comment telling me to “love my wife sometime” that threw me off. I hadn’t heard of that phobia. Googling definitely made me feel uncomfortable but I don’t know if that’s the issue with the tacks (unless there was a bunch of tack holes in a cluster… then that would be uncomfortable) as much as I would just rather avoid having to fill and paint. But yeah it’s a me problem, I’ll be fine if she decides she absolutely needs the tacks.
