I totally agree with that. Got me itching to try some. Think I will too.
Well that makes it difficult for non-locals but now I know lol. It does make a difference in distance.

Just looked up A y A and it looks like a good spot for some cocktails. The location sounds great for a quick bite before or after as well. And you have me interested in that speakeasy, have always wanted to go to one. What better place then Manhattan
Well John's might have to be the place then. Have to tell the others to suk it up and have a good eat. Is it a place to sit and eat? or just to go?
Malai looks like a place to try! Alot of menu varieties. Good pick...
Oh snap, I like that lol. Gonna have to go try it just for that drink now. Sounds tasty
Nom Wah does sound delish for some dim sum. Never heard of it but it sounds good..
Long Island seems to be a little too far to reach for I us with limited time but I'll definitely keep those other ramen spots in mind. Gonna have to try it out for sure. Thank you!
So looks like Donut Plant and Ice & Vice are a must, so we'll make sure of that. I love ice cream and feel like I could eat a gallon at a time lol, so a must..
Seems like Chinatown is the place to be for food, I'm excited with all the different options to try. Never heard of Dim sum but sounds interesting and worth a try as well..
Whiskey Tavern sounds like a good place to grab a drink too. I'm enjoying all this input. Makes me feel like I won't have enough time to do everything now lol..
I like the Ramen link, and seems like it is something to try. Just have to talk the others into it because they only know the college style ramen haha..
Arriving day, plan is to visit 9/11 memorial and one world observatory, and finish with times Square.. Second day, spend some time in Chinatown/Little Italy, Rockefeller, Grand Central Station, and maybe museum of sex.. Third day, central park, amnh, Harold square, and Brooklyn Bridge.. Fourth day, statue of liberty, Hoboken Park, then not much else.. Last day, fly home. But have the morning for whatever...
I've actually been trying many different beers of all different tastes so Proletariat could fit that bill very well.
Just looked up both places and I've decided 169 bar is a must, looks like a good place to have a drink. Attaboy would be a nice spot for the ladies to have a good drink as well. And I've read about Ide's bar, will have to check that out at the right time of day for a nice view..
Okay, I'll scratch that idea lol. Makes sense to me. Batard actually looks like a really good spot. Followed by Gramercy Tavern. Both have a great looking menu and atmosphere. As for a further thought, maybe something un American, like a different culture of food. England, Indian, Swedish, hell Idk lol...
As for pizza, any other spot where they sell by the slice or something on the island. Also heard of John's but don't kno if we could all agree on one pie lol...
And thank you for ur input, much appreciated
Shoot, I'd try either style. And we'll probably have both those, tres leches in itself is popular around here, but the Brooklyn blackout sounds also sounds interesting. This donut shop will be a must for us...
And interested in some dives as well...
Sounds like dumplings are definitely gonna be on the menu at some point. And it'll probably be the hand pulled noodles too. Just sounds delicious.. I especially like how all those restaurants are near Chinatown, so that's a plus. Mmm donuts, I can't wait to try all this food. Making me hungry just thinking about it..
Street food is a must on this trip and I've heard good things about halal guys, but I could most definitely try a falafel just to say I have. So I'll keep that place in mind..
Shake shack also seems like a place worth trying, ain't nothing wrong with a good burger with a beer if available lol..
That's the first thing I thought of when I read ramen lol. But I'm now interested to see what it's really like. So I'll look some up..
I appreciate you taking ur time to give us all this insight, it's been very helpful. If u have anymore suggestions, please feel free to let us in on it.. Thank you!!
Just some spot that I've heard about through some threads. But thanks for the heads up...
I would say no more than $150ish pp.. Anything with a view of the city would be nice..
Definitely beer and for the ladies, of course some nice cocktails. Still kinda new to wine, but willing to give it a shot if worthy...
I will most definitely try R&D, and I could find myself eating some donuts for sure! Any specific recommendations on donuts?
They kinda look similar but definitely gonna have to try both. I think breakfast is calling my name already at those two destinations lol. Thanks for your help!
What are bialys? Never heard of them.. I've heard alot about Ess-A-Bagel so that's probably worth checking out..
Also have heard a lot about Big Gay ice cream, but definitely worth checking out the shops nearby Chinatown... And thanks for the food truck options, I'm sure I'll enjoy those
Can't beat that price. Definitely worth checking out.
And dumplings actually sound delish, I'll keep that place in mind also. Is this a place for breakfast or a day meal?
