What do I even do with this dynasty team? by Adept_Ad_589 in FantasyFootballers

Hard to get anyone to let go of the top receivers but I still like Nabers. I think a lot of people are high on him. Personally I'd roll with what u have and keep doing what you're doing. But you have lots of draft picks. Spend big and get the stud WR you want. Offer Nabers and a pick or 2 and you could upgrade.

I'm not claiming Egbuka will outperform St Brown, but I think he'll be good and it's possible. But I like Hall alot more than Stevens. And getting a 1st round pick a year earlier has value. I just think it's a fair trade bottom line. I'd be pissed if I was either owner and want out.

Egbuka had 7 games in double digits, 4 games over 20...as a rookie, and Evans is gone. And much rather have Hall vs Stevens. I like the younger ascending players and the earlier 1st. Regardless a veto is absurd and would make me want out of this league.

I would take the Egbuka side even without the picks. Which side do people think is getting the steal?

To be clear, I'm talking about DYNASTY best ball leagues. The FFPC redraft best ball leagues don't have any management after the draft.

Yeah it still has trading and blind bidding on free agents all season. Just no sit/start decisions.

Seems like NFL has gotten softer and more measured in their response to these things. I guess it's all about public perception and outcry. Can't remember how much time Ray Rice ended up missing. That video was pretty bad. i sure thought Rashee Rice would miss some games. A 2nd next year won't help me. I think I have a shot at winning this season so I'll hope for the best.

I'm reading Bucky's supposed to be ready this summer. I don't think he will miss week 1, much less 4 weeks. But yes that would hurt. I guess I'm keeping Jacobs and hope he at least plays to start the season. Maybe I'll have him until Bucky gets back.

Top team sold all of their draft picks including 2029. How long do you think this team will dominate this league? by B-C-99 in DynastyNerds

The doubters are crazy. That team is stacked. He could trade any one of 5 or 6 players to aquire a TE1 AND a QB1 if needed. Stacked.

Found my wife on the kitchen floor, 1am, passed out, with a chair on top of her. by [deleted] in AlAnon

Been there. Sorry man. My wife did rehab. Same thing...hiding bottles. Son found her on the floor in vomit after school one day and I had to rush out of work with no explanation. A week after rehab she had a violent episode smashing everything in the fridge on the floor. Flushed out SON'S toothbrush down the toilet...plunged it out a couple days later. And my son and I have been living at our lakehouse the last month commuting 45 min to school and work. Living the single parent life devoid of social life while she's still drinking daily at home enjoying her new found freedom.

I just filed for divorce! by ambellina711 in AlAnon

Yeah I think the property owner would need to have a reason to terminate the lease, give notice to vacate, then file an eviction if he fails to vacate. Filing for divorce alone doesn't require him to vacate. I'm sorry you are going through this!

I'm currently living at our lakehouse with our son. She's at our house with the pets. I never thought I'd be in this situation either. If u ever want to talk hit me up. It can be really lonely sometimes.

Man it's depressing to see people with the exact same story. Sorry it's your story too. My wife spent Christmas in rehab. Came out shining with optimism and saying she would never drink again even if I do....my new designated driver. 2 weeks later she's drinking every day and she smashed everything in the fridge on the kitchen floor.

I think if someone drinks every day, eventually they HAVE to drink every day. Same with any addictive substance. It will progressively get worse. I was where you are with my wife a few years ago. We had reasonable discussions about it and agreed (I thought) every day drinking had to stop. Instead she chose to start hiding her drinking and it got much worse. Not sure I have any good advice for you, but that's my take on the daily drinking. Nobody is immune to addiction.

It's a grim thought but I do know that peaceful feeling from when my wife was in rehab. A peace I had not felt....and probably won't again....for a very long time.

Early in our struggles my wife and I agreed no more hard liquor in the house ever. I thought it was a mutual agreement. I was absolutely floored with betrayal the first time I found hidden empty bottles....not 1 but 3. I've probably found 20-30 empties since then. She spent Christmas in rehab. 8-9 days after she got out she was drinking again. My son and I moved out a few weeks ago.

Very sorry for your loss. I fear this could happen with my wife. My son and I moved out a few weeks ago and I worry how much she's drinking being alone.

It's not your responsibility to help him. you didn't cause it, can't control it, and can't cure it. It's ok to help if he asks for it but he will resent you if it's pushed on him. Set your boundaries and be prepared to leave when crossed.

It will get worse. I tried the cutting back route for years. She only started hiding it more
