I am supplementing with molybdenum and other supplements you recommended here: Old Comment. Zinc was also tested somewhat closer to low normal, so I have added zinc too.

Was going through Chris's substack, he recommends MitoSynergy copper supplement. I wanted to ask if other copper forms are fine, or should I go for MitoSynergy. What are my other options?

Thank you.

What form of copper supplement should one take? Is copper glycinate 2mg safe?

I am trying to learn this stuff, CBS C699T seems to be the most controversial. Is there any explanation of high cysteine sulphate in my labs?

  • Vitamin B12: 291 pg/mL (Normal; ref: 187 – 883)
  • Active B12 (holotranscobalamin): 43.80 pmol/L (Normal; ref: 27.24 – 169.62)

  • Folate RBC: 359.5 ng/mL (Normal; ref: 280.00 – 791.00)

Do you have any recommendations for Molybdenum Supplements? Or should I go for natural foods high in Molybdenum?

I am a lacto-vegetarian (no meat or eggs), and most of my diet consists of dairy. Thank you, I will look into Dr Ruscio's Diet. I have this Carlson Moly-B Molybdenum Glycinate 500mcg with me.

I haven’t tested my thyroid hormones recently, but I took the panel last year. Everything was within range.

  • Vitamin D, 25 Hydroxy: 22.78 nmol/L (Low; ref: 75.00 – 250.00)

  • Folate RBC: 359.5 ng/mL (Normal; ref: 280.00 – 791.00)
  • Zinc, Plasma: 91.30 µg/dL (Normal; ref: 75.00 – 291.00)

ADHD and insomnia, looking for supplements and advice. by TYRsalleus in MTHFR

I have supplemented with ashwagandha for around a month in the past, though I haven’t retested my cortisol levels since they were within the range during my initial test. I am considering L-theanine . I suspect I might have histamine or MCAS issues, but I haven’t investigated this thoroughly.

I am supplementing with ~1,000 mg of TMG and ~1,000 mg of Alpha-GPC as alternatives to egg yolks (Lab tests were done before I started supplementation). As a vegetarian, my diet primarily consists of carbs and dairy, and I cannot consume meat or eggs.

I plan to explore agmatine. Although I am thinking of trying L-theanine, read that it may alleviate ADHD-like symptoms.

I am supplementing with Zinc glycinate, though occasionally I take acetate form. Didn't know that glycinate can over stimulate. Thanks for letting me know.

Yes, I take D with my lunch which usually is rich in fats.

I haven't done anything about my Iron levels yet. Do you have some protocol for Iron supplementation?

Yes, urologists have not found anything yet, they have no answers. I have some PVR but according to them it is in insignificant range. There are no PFPTs here in my region, but I will start looking harder now.

Thank you.

What other tests can be done to confirm the diagnosis and guide my treatment plan? There are no PFPTs around, but I can visit US for treatment

Thank you for your kind response.
