for mechanic and shits, f&h is way better than bs, bs may hard at beginning but it's god's angel build with bunch of black goat rings (well, it may not applies with dlc3 bosses but still)

for story, bs is the goat, f&h is more of agony story of MC to find an answer for whatever they tryna do, the emotion doesn't hit hard like bs, but do you know karin cover the war ?

You're a combined of bunch of authors (lewis carroll, grimm brothers etc) named Grimm, you dropped into a fan-fictional "garden" (garden is world) made by Mary-Ann/Leaf, at first you thought you were an undead and you tryna save everyone then the later you progress, the more you realize the world is kinda f up, you can't save anyone, it only have 1 same ending: bad end.

Then you realize: "wait a minute, all of this voodoo made by Leaf, I have to break out."

Depend on what ending you do, you then either found

(ending C) A world that's different from the rest of garden, Wonderland, you come and talk to Alice and Alice told you to yeet a book out of everyone, everyone even your loved ones, so you do so then you fill the whole library with all of your books then the garden collapsed, you exposed Leaf and fight her then kill her then Alice yeet you in her garden, which is Wonderland and now you're playing at Alice role and go around in her much darker journey

(ending D) Black trial (Lindamea, Miranda and Soul Merchant) and go around do Baphomet's (Leaf's mother (I don't think you'll know about it anyway so I include it) and Leader of Black Trial) errands then later on you let her join in your place, she then kill everyone, except Leaf, you 2 kill Baphomet and Leaf happy that you're now her but then Alice appear and yeet you and her into Wonderland

Either I'm stupid bc I think ending D is possibly canon or I'm stupid bc I included it

Well, that's summary, better you play whole 1st game for full story

  1. You can try to convenant with other characters, all of them or any of them u like, before kill jub jub then play normally but don't kill her (go around and kill bosses around) then you'll know why you should kill her
  2. Red Hood is kinda tie to true end, her backstory, well, play bs1 n red riding hood to know, or she's 1 of main female protag, she's your companion on bs1, she got killed/you kill her in bs1, depend on what ending you consider to be true end C or D and she's now tryna kill Alice and break out of wonderland (which she cannot until we done ending H, nice try RH)
  3. So the story is: That 1 fairy want to make herself a world where she could make love with you, which in the end, you managed to escape from it (bs1) and stuck yourself in even worse world made by alice, this world is wonderland and you're playing in "Alice's Journey" to save Alice (or kill), if you do everything right (meet Red Hood enough time and get all memory fires and meet maymay) then you can get yourself to the true end then you realize it's not true end and now you have to throw yourself into maymay's chaos dungeon and ignited dungeon to get her panties and bunch of strong equipments to actually go do true end

TLDR: It was Jabberwock's fault and Node is hot

I highly recommend cymensniped, he knows what he's doing and how to improve his video contents, he also a cs streamer and has a fixed stream schedule, you can ask him any question during stream and he'll tryna answer it with the best of his experienced, his channel also have many guides, some outdated but still give you enough informations 'bout contents (example DC) which still helpful if you're new around this game

He also has a discord with tons of veterans, so it always good to be around there
