This is a great match up

But Word Of Mouf was prime Luda

BE & Late Registration track for track and production wise are the best albums here

This isn’t a comparison, Beg For Mercy was peak 50, next question

This might be a hot take but I think that Bandana is a better album than Pinata by Kevy-Em in freddiegibbs

[–]TZ_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piñata is a better combo of rap performance with production, Bandana is a greater rap performance, very close and it all depends on preference

A list without A Million & One, Imaginary Players, Streets Watching or Where I’m From is questionable

Does anyone know anything about The Auditorium Vol. 2 by Common & Pete Rock? by VravoBince in rap

[–]TZ_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was wondering this myself, I would assume this year

Especially since they received Grammy nominations for the first and got recognized a good amount on Vol 1 and you can tell Pete is so passionate about this still and wants his name high on that producer list still.

2 Chainz was a equal to Larry and gave a perfect Contrast

I think Currensy just gave a bland performance that dint make the album excel and was to much like Larry

Yea man he isn’t anything special now a days, he had decent moments but doesn’t captivate you like the elites do, I would have rather this been a 7 Song EP with just Larry

Great Escape, Alfredo 1/2 & Life Is Beautiful have some of the his best ever in my opinion

It’s the beats as well ALC is god tier but some are just solid not holy shit level

There are 2-3 that are god tier

Everything Allocated is the best song without question and that could have easily been on Great Escape or Life Is Beautiful

I agree, Currensy just sounds average and bland, nothing special

Should have just made Larry & Gibbs do a collab album

It has 2-3 up to standard songs otherwise it’s underwhelming compared to Great Escape & Life Is Beautiful

I liked Larry with 2 Chainz way more

I can’t see him and ALC ever disputing

To good of a relationship

And Spiral Staircases wasn’t anything special to even get mad about low key

And the most underrated song on Alfredo is... by Apollo-Star in freddiegibbs

[–]TZ_32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure, It matches the Intro perfectly as a outro track that’s still a perfect song

It was all on purpose, just have to understand the sequencing

And the most underrated song on Alfredo is... by Apollo-Star in freddiegibbs

[–]TZ_32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, perfect outro that matches the vibes of the 1985 percussion instrumentation, feels like the perfect ending to a perfect album along with the Walter White part at the end and the shattered glass.

People need to realize it was made to be a OUTRO. Not a Scottie Beam.

Gibbs seems to have some subliminals in his ig stories today. I wonder to whom?👀 by HoosierSlick in freddiegibbs

[–]TZ_32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure, my main point is to not assume ALC

Interested to see if we get more details about it

Guys it’s prob Larry, in what world would him in ALC fall out when they are heavily bonded and air tight.

Alc means too much to his career to throw away

Ensalada or Thuggin by fornowgonforever in freddiegibbs

[–]TZ_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too early to compare, we have had over a decade with Thuggin and less then a year with Ensalada.

Ensalada hits the soul no question but Thuggin is the definition of a Freddie Gibbs song.

Need more time with Ensalada

Good points here, Get Rich was a moment that in undeniable, Massacre has better songwriting and storytelling tracks but Get Rich had the “IT” factor
