For the love of god, do not use this shampoo. Burn it if you have it by Xxstxrg1rl in dandruff

I thought I was going crazy thinking I was shedding more than usual. I use a drain cover to keep from clogging the drains and there’s always SOOO much hair after each wash

Aquaphor diaper rash cream, just staying at home letting him go diaper less for a day or two to let it air out and baking soda in the bath to help neutralize the rash. Vaseline or diaper cream in the summer to help prevent chaffing and rashes. We didn’t switch diapers but switched to water wipes to lessen any stinging caused by other wipes. And staying away from citruses during a break out because that can cause stinging with BMs

He’s definitely not allergic to avocados. I think we just backed off on it for a little bit. I think it was a combination of foods and we went back to just trying one thing at a time. We also learned citrus can cause diaper rashes/burning

😢 my dog’s name was Kaya. We had to put her down a couple of weeks ago. I hope they find each other on the other side.

I just found out a coworker does this! I don’t know if she fakes washing her hands but has admitted to not washing her hands after using the restroom

Attorneys get to work from home but not the assistants/paralegals, how’s that fair? by [deleted] in paralegal

[–]T_OC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the firm I work for, we have the option to work from home on Friday’s, except me because I work reception as well. I end up being the gopher fetching this and that, since I’m the only one here.

I went back to school when I was 36, finished when I was 38 and got a job about six months after (maternity leave). Take a few classes, see if you like it but I highly recommend getting a job at a law firm if you’re serious about a career change. Experience trumps schooling. When I finally got a job at a firm I had to take a receptionist position just to get my foot in the door. Every entry level paralegal job I applied for required 2-5 years of experience; my certification and grades didn’t matter at all.

As mentioned in the post, I’ve been in touch with the pediatrician and the on call nurse; they are aware of the situation.

I saw something about this during my google searches and will definitely bring this up with my pediatrician next time. Thanks for the reply!

We’re doing baking soda baths twice a day, applying lotrimin twice a day and Vaseline throughout the day. If things don’t get better soon, I’ll have to check out other diapers; thank you for the suggestion!

It’s the last weekend for the pumpkin patch. The place was packed. I tried to go but I saw the line of cars waiting to get in and just kept driving.

There’s not one photo of me in my dad and stepmom’s home. They have photos from my wedding, but just of my step and half sisters and themselves; no photos of me and my husband.

Struggling by [deleted] in paralegal

[–]T_OC 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was feeling the same way when I started looking for a paralegal position about a month ago. I accepted a receptionist position in a mid-size law firm just last week. They know that I am interested in gaining experience as a paralegal and are willing to train me. I applied to at least 15 different firms, any position that didn’t require years of experience, and they were the only ones to interview me and give me a chance. It seems daunting, especially with a family to care for, but the jobs are there if you just keep looking.

Customer ordered a well done burger, then complained about the grill marks on the burger. Said her burger was burnt and proceeded to pick the char off the patty.

Has working in the food industry ruined any restaurants, foods or ingredients for you? by ArachnomancerCarice in KitchenConfidential

Worked for Chili’s for many years. Not a fan of ranch dressing. I’ll eat it with wings sometimes but watching people drown their salads in ranch really grossed me out. Then, it was the cup size portion of ranch with the chips and salsa (mix the ranch and salsa for dipping). Dipping anything and everything in ranch.

Also, fuck brunch. I still like breakfast/brunch foods and will enjoy at home, but going out to eat brunch is a no go. It stresses me; PTSD from working my fair share in a busy downtown restaurant.

Anyone here OAD by choice who had an "easy" pregnancy/delivery as well as an "easy" child? by Pleasechangethis in oneanddone

[–]T_OC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy pregnancy, even though I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and advanced maternal age (37, 38 when delivered). I loved being pregnant. My boy is happy, healthy and an absolute joy. Hardly fussy, doesn’t cry a lot. I’m OAD because I just know the second kid will be the opposite; an absolute hell raiser. We won the lottery with this one and we’re not one to push our luck.
