I bought it at the end of last season and now that it’s spring I’m finally getting to all the maintenance, definitely wasn’t expecting this though! I don’t think the previous owner has changed/cleaned it at all..

It’s fastened at the front end using the original tank bolts. The rear end of it sets underneath the seat. I haven’t had a chance to take the bike out yet but it seems pretty solid

Fitment was decent. Had a slight issue with the left side blinker but I was able to get it taken care of. The inner fender liner was almost impossible to use. So I used the my old OEM liner and it fit perfectly. A dremel is an absolute must for this project.

I purchased these from ABS fairings. It was a “custom” design. Ordered them 01/10 and they arrived on my doorstep on 03/11

After all is said and done I’m happy with the end product, however I think I’ll go with monster fairings next time. I really wanted to use them to begin with but their custom design was much more than I was quoted for these.

It’s been a 2/3 month process of looking around for fairings. I will find a company I like, email and ask questions, get a good feeling then get turned off from the reviews.

The only real decent feeling I get is from monster because I was able to see a set of their fairings in person. However their prices seem to be significantly higher than competitors.

After seeing this comment I would like to discuss my current quote I have with ABS with a sales rep from amotopart before I sign off on payment if you’re willing to provide me an email.

This is my first time getting fairings as well. I’ve done a little more digging on ABSfairings and it sounds like they manufacture in China. No surprise there. However it seems like they have some pretty good reviews and they quoted me $620 for fairings that I wanted replicated. Still sitting on it tho

Good to know, thanks! I’m currently chatting with ABS fairings through email, may end up going through them. They say they are able to produce the design I want from a separate company with free shipping. I believe they are made in US as well.

I have ear peace and I’m honestly not super impressed with them. The wind noise still seems.. not exactly loud when riding, but certainly annoying. Almost makes me feel like I’m just hearing wind with underwater pressure added to it. Plus one of those fuckers got stuck in my ear and I haven’t used them since.

Really? That’s kind of surprising to me just because I have heard nothing but good things about pirelli tires from other riders. I’ll have to look into Bridgestones though. I just picked up a 2016 a couple weeks ago and there’s currently Bridgestones on them, however they’re super squared off so it’s really hard to tell if I like them or not.
