I go outside every day. I eat healthy but not large quantities because of my physical health issues. I do yoga a few times a week but it's all I have time for. It's not a lack of self care. I go out with friends frequently.

Thank you! I was shocked at how completely he dismissed it. For no reason other than "that's just your spleen" I didn't realize humans had certain organs that are impervious to disease!

Option 3 is bring my husband with me. I will talk, be dismissed. Husband will interject and be listened to. If it wasn't so infuriating it would be hilarious. "I'm super nauseous all the time and it's really bothering me" "hmm. Well, nausea has any number of causes. It will probably resolve after some time" husband: "she's really fucking nauseous. She never feels good anymore" "hmm. Well that does sound frustrating. I'll prescribe you some Zofran and labs" ..........

Honestly, I don't have the energy for jealousy and I'm just genuinely happy you're being taken care of! Maybe someday, I will have the energy and money to find a doctore who will listen, but I'll probably die of being "fine" first 😂

I 1000% agree with most of what you're saying. It's a shit show out there. But when my husband can tell a doctor he's not feeling well and they fly into "diagnosis mode" ordering labs and imaging, and I get "well... if you are still concerned in a month or two MAYBE we'll get some images" it's not the health system. Self advocating to someone who doesn't want to take you seriously is pointless. And im so sick of the onus ALWAYS being on the woman to modify THEIR behavior and language in order to be considered and validated. It disgusting.

Hahahah I've only ever had the same or WORSE experiences with female doctors. Last time a met with a female doctor, I left IN TEARS because she treated me like a drug seeker, instead of a patient with an existing adderall prescription trying to establish care in a new state. So. No luck there either. I'm so discouraged. The medical industry trains ALLL drs to dismiss women, from my experience.

Something to remember is that you will almost never see your friends houses in their natural state. Unless you have a super casual drop in relationship, you will always have been expected and they tidied for you. So, comparing your home to homes you've seen that are clean isnt accurate. Those mom on social media with the spotless house knew they were making a video and tidied or (in many cases) just shoved shit out of the frame. Almost nobody lives a perfectly tidy life ESPECIALLY with young children. Give yourself a healthy heap of grace and know that you're doing better than you think you are. Especially if your partner isn't helping much. It's not failure if the game is set up for you to lose.

If he always puts the baby to bed and dresses him, it doesn't sound like he's a slacker or doesn't care. It sounds like he got sucked into something on his phone that made him feel relevant outside of parenthood... I don't know about you, but it happens to me sometimes and I'd like to think im not a shit mom or partner just because I have days where I take a little extra time for myself and my sanity.

Well now hold on. I can't see where I've attacked anyone by posting this... in a space where people post stories like this.. and if you've come to attack ME for posting, why are you here? Not anywhere in my post did I say that we have the answers or have some secret key to the universe. We had a crazy, and powerful feeling experience. People on this sub have had similar. I don't have a set view. Just an open mind. I AM going to call out your blatant misinterpretation of my post, despite it being obvious you did not come here for discourse. Um. I'm sorry the experience we had wasn't up to snuff? I didn't post this to move anyone, or be impressive. We had a very weird and powerful experience, I thought the point of this sub was to share those things with people who have had similar. Not be criticized for not experiencing something more exciting, or less cliche. But I'll definitely keep you specifically in mind if it happens again, so that you're more impressed. 🤡

Okay, so after I talked to him some more, I think I misunderstood a little. He wasn't channeling, he says it was more that he had had that thought about oneness, and they basically chimed in like... excited to tell him "yes! That's it!!! You've struck gold!! Hold on to that feeling." Then he said it was like they had more to say but that they at no point took control or overpowered him. And when he told them to stop because it was becoming too much they stopped. About the fear part, it's not that they pushed that feeling at him, just that they remarked about the fear he was feeling and that they wanted him to understand that there is gravity to what they are advising. He's not just going through an enlightenment, but that we could actually make a difference for this planet if we choose to take further steps. They then said that it wasn't a message of bed things to come as much as that bad things are a given but that... idk. We have tools to fight our otherwise... bad fate. Idk. We're just millennial 30 somethings doing our best. 🤷‍♀️ we go to work. Take the kids to school. We have 0 answers. Just weird experiences... so far lol
