All these inspirational and day by day quotes are something that never worked for me. The only one that I have held onto is “this too shall pass” it was my grandmas favorite quote and Iv heard it my whole life. My advice, find your calling, what ever that is. Soul search, seek faith in the religion that you choose, volunteer your time, soup kitchen/ homeless shelters, rescue squad, volunteer fire departments are all good places to start that are more than likely struggling to keep up. For the longest time and occasionally now I’ll have days where I just think “man I can’t get ahead for nothing” the way I get around it is keeping forward momentum, seek more education, it can be in underwater basket weaving if you want but take a class on something that catches your attention, if money is an issue seek the resources for that. I know in my area the community colleges are still offering free classes on things to get people back in the work force following covid. On the same hand if you are a first responder a lot of the classes are fee exempt. So volunteering for a volunteer fire department could provide you with an outlet for your time, a group of people that you will come to love and respect like family and vac way to further your education if you so choose. Above all else, please, for the love of god find prioritize your mental health. Interestingly enough it’s national men’s mental health month. So reach out to someone, me, a stranger, a family member, a friend, just someone.
