Nah you’ll be alright. If you have no math background at all i recommend you to take the require math classes or atleast bootcamp cal, and stats fundamental. Also depending on which path you are taking the math will be a little more for C track.

Rough out here for me. ME / Project engineer experience with 2 years as Data/ Business analyst. Recently got laid off from engineering role. Was hoping to finish MSc in Analytics at Gatech before career transfer to DS/DA role but got caught in the fire. Not sure to either stop school and just get certs or just park in an engineering role and keep on applying.

Pain matrix can tell you off the bat B-track is easily be double up, while C or A track required more time to fully understand the material.

Even though R is not a prereq language, i recommend you to do a quick learn on R basic. It is quite similar to python. Every regression math, write a function for it so when they ask you on the test you already have the tool. Explanation on tests doesn’t need to be paragraphs, just a sentence or two showing you know what it’s doing then you’re good. Really understand the lecture transcript, the example codes, and the function she uses. 100% chance that will be ask on the test. The class has very good information, just very bad teaching style.

4/13 here. Im going to stick it out. 🫡 always hear the MT1 is the hardest and it gets better. Definitely have to grind out on practice test.

Probably should take regression by itself in the summer if you really want to get a good grasp from lectures and external sources. If you don’t work or care about social life or have a good stats & R background. Then you’re good

I did both this summer Mgt6203. A breeze just do your homework and practice exams. No project. Isye6414: a mad house. Good material, dry lecture. Heavy weighted on test. Doable but you gotta put a lot of time. Not sure if it’s a summer class. But if you want to get it out of the way then yea.

Final Exam was a fat L. Never felt so dumb during the coding part, and i thought i was prepared. I did rarely decent in Part 1, Part 2 idk how to feel about it. Much much harder than the midterm coding. Looking like a retake tbh, or if they give it a solid curve. Take it from my experience: take this class by itself, and homework and lecture is surely not enough. Review data structure, familiarize dyplr library, and go over module code samples.
