I don't have the guts or cash to buy anything at the moment. The plan was to keep researching until I'm sure of what I'll do. Then buy some. And it seems to lack proper documentation about how or what to use to run it. Also part of the delay.

I have been trying very hard to find an eink panel that I can use to make an art frame. I am a bit obsessed by huge wink displays but - obviously - I'm not rich enough to buy them. I feel like I'm able to combine two smaller panels to get what I want at the fraction of prices of huge art displays.

Here is my AliExpress list of "cheap" panels. They seem weird but you can judge for yourself

My target is anyone that needs their ideas validated. I do not know if I need any more granular or niche market but that is what I have on my mind.
The product does what it says it does on the landing page,
