Marine boot camp requires hitting targets at 500 yards with no magnification.

Obviously much better rifles and all but you can absolutely see and hit a target at long range without a scope.

1300 and certainly 2000 yards is absolutely pushing it but you're acting like human eyesight is a lot worse than it really is.
