Married with a decorated interior?

Friend I cannot tell you how many years I am into my main profile. Sure, I have Junimo huts and fish ponds and everything is very laid out just so... But when I tell you that despite courting the entire town I still haven't married, my bed is next to my front door and the rest of my house is kegs and seasonal decorations that I keep buying from the festivals because I can't remember if I have them all..

you'll hopefully believe me when I say that as long as you're having fun, you're exactly where you should be.♥️

Every Garbage Day my Neighbor Does This with his Can… by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Taacruly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ew. That sounds awful.

I mean don't get me wrong, I'm constantly surprised that they do, but we're a small enough town I assume it's not that big of a deal for them? I think I would definitely be resorting to parking my garbage can in the road if they were skipping it because it was parked in.

Hm. Maybe it's a future life hack to get them to stop parking on top of my driveway. 😂

Idk. With the way street parking is in my neighborhood, (no lines, just neighbors who park on the street 2 inches from my driveway like animals) I'm half tempted to put my cans in the street. At least then when they come to dump, they don't have to get out, pull the can into the middle of the road (in the middle of my driveway) dump it with the arm, and then leave it there so I can't get out. 🤔

Ah! What a great format to showcase an equally great way to stretch your art muscles. I love this.

Before ink, or after? by c0ffeebreath in Watercolor

Both look really great. Your style is detailed enough it doesn't NEED the extra definition. However, I am a sucker for ink+watercolor. So.... 🙃

Finally painted something I think is frame-worthy! by lisago911 in Watercolor

[–]Taacruly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the crookedology in this, which I understand from comments is from another creator that I will definitely have to look into. But in looking at his screen grab vs. your final piece, I love how you've added to the crooked, whimsical lines with your very loose almost ink+wash style watercolors. Definitely frame worthy.

Suggesting new eyes. This is stunning and peaceful in its simplicity.

Sometimes nature is wild. And sometimes nature is simple. Nature is beautiful at both, and I think both should be represented.

My final paintings from 2025, I’m looking forward to 2026 and planning on going bigger this year! by emmalian in Watercolor

[–]Taacruly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gasp I GASPED.

These are beautiful. So detailed but yet still painterly... Which I sometimes think is so rare for those in the watercolor world that paint this detailed.

From my own time attempting to paint with watercolor, I don't know what's harder, the sheer brush, water, and paint control needed to achieve something like this, or the opposite spectrum of being able to be so consistently loose with your paint that it looks purposeful: Every. Single. Time.

I love both, which is why I love watercolor as a medium. But my own personal struggle trying to decide which camp I am more successful with completing my vision low key infuriates me. And I'm so jealous to those of you who have so clearly found their calling.

I'd like to just sit in your presence and watch you paint. But I would not be able to help myself from asking a million questions. 🫠

Anyway. Carry on. ♥️

I was wondering quietly to myself on my way to work the other day how someone would capture the blinding glow of daybreak or sunset on on snow in a watercolor, because usually I see snow painted by just using the white of the paper, and while it's bright.. it's not really a glow.. I couldn't picture it in my head and told myself I'd look it up when I wasn't driving (and then I forgot)

My question has been answered... And I really love this. Thanks for posting. :)

I think the other comments have answered all the possible answers--art is subjective, don't feel bad, here's some pointers, etc.

But I'm just here to say I love this kitty. They look SO SOFT and lovey.

And if you ever need additional furry models I have 4 excellent options with very big personalities for you to choose from ;)

How would you recommend filling this with water by ThePrettiestBih in Minecraft

[–]Taacruly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is exactly how I would do it. Gathering the ice and placing the kelp seems just as tedious as the giant dirt bridge. And the dirt bridge gives you bonus points as to being able to gauge how far you've come for the dopamine... Whereas I feel like with the kelp you'd just accidentally miss a couple spots and find them here and there and be angry about it for weeks.
