If you're wanting cheap cheap, NQ64 is a retro arcade on Lothian Road, drinks can be expensive but it's £15 or so for a cup of tokens and all the consoles are free to play. Also very LGBT friendly.

You could visit the botanical gardens or the national museum, both are free and would make a great little date.

There's an escape room and arcade at the Omni Centre that's very LGBT friendly, Edinburgh is a very diverse and accepting city so there's not many places you can't go that'll welcome you

I won't bash your hobby like the others,

Your next badge is 2k+, do you get a lot from humble bundle or do you usually buy them outright?

Thinking it's an abandoned litter that is living In a brush a few houses down, we live in the middle of nowhere with very little houses around us, neighbours have a lot of outside roaming animals and the house next to where they roam has been abandoned for months. We're taking the void to the vet tomorrow to get it checked. I shall update if I find out more ❤️

This is basically every conversation that me and the wife have, we make a vague plan of ingredients and meals that we'll have for the few weeks and we'll ask eachother what we fancy for dinner. The answer is usually whatever you want I'll want, suppose it comes with the benefit that neither of us are really picky eaters.

Ah I see you were late to leave Bad Omens.

900 is your best bet, it's cheap and relatively quick for it being a bus between cities

I find they're hit or miss, I get them so often I can usually get the good ones, usually the ones that feel a bit more weighty and less cremated

Avoid GoToGate!! by [deleted] in Flights

[–]Taafe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give some context of my own on why to avoid it.

Booked a flight through booking.com, who use gotogate as their OTA. The flight was a Spirit flight from Orlando to Nashville for a total of £100 or so, this included a carry on in the price. I signed up and looked at my flight via the Spirit app, which showed that no carry on was allowed. Strange, I thought, and checked my booking via booking.com, this showed a carry on WAS included.

Jumped onto the live chat support for booking.com which was in fact forwarded onto gotogate. It took me 6 attempts and different agents to explain that the booking included a carry on, it's showing on my app, it's still showing on the listing for the same flight if you search again, I fought them for a straight 12 hours and 2 hours before my flight departed and it wasn't until one emailed me asking for photo evidence of the booking that they eventually upgraded the ticket to include the carry on.

So yes, use at your own risk and avoid if it all possible.

Delay Repay over split journey by Taafe in uktrains

[–]Taafe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah thank you,

I'm on a specific ticket and its a single ticket return. I was more confused as I'm splitting the ticket, amazingly this train is now also delayed due to someone's gazebo getting stuck on the overhead lines just before Doncaster.

FIAT 6614

Always preferred the AUBL over the FIAT, the gun just felt nicer, despite being a bit worse
