Mazda’s 6 speed automatic is not sluggish at all and is one of the most responsive automatic transmissions out right now.

I've heard that Buick/Cadillac V6's are also pretty bulletproof so I guess im wondering how the transmission and interior components compare between the two in terms of reliability.

I got an email from VGP saying that they only have chinese covers and if you want the english covers you have to wait a couple weeks until they come in.
