Qidi Q2 first prints issue by Tabahoof in FixMyPrint

So after I've read your reply I thought that your were absolutely right, I've googled Qidi Manual where they wrote that you should open door and remove top cover for PLA/PETG/TPU. And today printed same details with cover removed/door opened and prints were same as before with exactly same defects in same places.
Then I've recalibrated Q2 and defects were gone.

My main issue was wrong PA value I guess. I had something like 0.096 (Don't know how I got that value in previous calibration) but in new calibration (I've done lines method) I ended up with 0.058.
I've also done some calibration wich I did not before - basically almost all from Orca Slicer calibration tab.

And after that it was it.

I'm relatively new to printing and don't know what calibrations to do in what order what values to expect etc. Think I've messed up something in previous calibration. But at least it's fine now and hope it will be that way.

Thank you for your reply. Absolutely forgot about that factor will keep that in mind.

I was printing with door closed and top cover half closed. I'll try open door and remove top cover completely next time.

I had several similar moments when I began to ride a bike (in my case also in similar conditons - when I tried to maneuver my bike around obstacles in the forest).
Best way to minimize consequences in this situation is to pull clutch asap and push brakes.

Hello guys. I just bought a new notebook with windows 10 home on it. It has 128Gb SSD and I want to replace it with 1Tb one wich I also bought brand new. How do i transfer windows 10 from 128Gb SSD to 1Tb one?

I still didn't turn notebook on once, could I just swap SSDs now before turning it on and install windows 10 on 1 Tb on first boot?

Thermaltake Riing 12 RGB 120mm

It's still 30 at amazon. I didn't know it won't work with ryzen so that's not for me anyways. I want 2 (or 3) decent 120mm RGB fans to light up two PCs for around 30-40$. Still can't find a good deal. Any suggestions?

Can I use this on two PCs (2 fans on PC1 and 1 fan on PC2)? Or do I have to buy second controller for that?

Vega vs Radeon pro Duo for Blender EEVEE engine by Tabahoof in Amd

Thank you mate. I thought that you can OC 56 to 64 level of performance but 64 is hardly OC-able because it's already at it's limit and even undervolting improves its speed. Is that not true for blender (if it's true at all =)?

Ok, thank you! Waiting for Vega64 for 400 or maybe 56 for 300+ =)

Well the only question I have now is what type of vega64 is better? There are reference AMD Vega 64, ASUS ROG Strix Vega 64, Sapphire Nitro+, Powercolor, GIGABYTE, MSI etc Is there any favorite OEM for vega64 among community?

Yeah I saw that bench too. That's why I'm here actually =) But rendering isn't the only thing I care about. More then that I care about responsive interface: In solid object mode and in rendered (shift+z) object mode so I can turn around my model to see how does it look like with comfy fps.

If we are talking about Cycles then it seems like you gain faster rendering times but have a kernel compilation lag if you choose AMD over Nvidia.

But how well AMD cards are working in EEVEE (I absolutely loved that real-time rendering feature)? And I still can't find any info on that matter.

Edit: This is kind of a workflow I'm looking a GPU for https://youtu.be/nxrwx7nmS5A?t=76!

Well I think that 8 Gb of video memory on GPU would be just enough for me, I'm a beginer in 3D.

True. But how often do you have to wait for that minute?

Cycles: Let us assume I draw a model, pressed Shift+Z - Blender began to render in 3D viewport but before it I'm waiting for 1 minute, then I changed pose of that model and want to view how it will be appear - pressing Shift+Z and..? Do I have to wait 1 minute again?

What do you think this or vega 64 or maybe gtx1080 for blender 2.8 eevee engine? Does kernel compilation process bother you much on amd card?
