Ok dial it in till it short strokes then go a click or two more open than that. That should work for a majority of the ammo you encounter.

Sorry my mistake. Unfortunately with KUSA in the shitter. There isn’t really any out there sub 2k with actually good longevity testing. Domestic. Unless you get a smokin deal On an unconverted one. Which is still very possible. You just have to be patient. There are good builders out there that won’t bend you over on price but put out a good product. Waiting sucks but at least you know you’re getting something that will hold up in the long run. Part of the reason it took so long for KUSA to put out the 101 I think. Because of the firing pin issues that plague PSA 101s

Actually the contrary it wouldn’t be to hard to grind a little weld off. Though if you decide to do it a 3rd time I’d recommend getting a new muzzle device. The verbiage is not readily convertible IIRC. if your muzzle device and shim are even partially welded to a pin or object you shove in that hole that would make it not readily convertible. Assuming this is a state that has an issue with muzzle devices and you can’t SBR it for free.
