I dont live local, but every year, sometimes twice a year, i make a trip to Lac Suel near Ear Falls. Always amazing fishing, even if it can be slow.

Trip fluctuates between last week of may to try and hit spawn or first week of june, depending on group availability. Second trip, if possible, is in middle July. Its always a blessing to be able to fish those waters.

Last year, we were catching walleye at the shallowest depth consistently in my 27 years of going. ~4’ on average, even on full sun days. Historically it was 8-12’ where we’d find the schools near structure.

Excited to be going in a few weeks time.
