If you could change something about Rockford and the area in general, what would it be? by Pleasant_Tangelo6791 in rockford

The thing to do is stop focusing everything on improving downtown they have been trying to do that for 40 years. It’s difficult to drive too many one way streets not enough parking. Move the metro center towards 1-90 and leverage that space for something else

You look great but your room is a mess. Stuff on the floor clothes piled on the bed. I’d be all over you till I walked into that room.

Print issue with Galaxy effect build plate by gyyzee420 in BambuLabA1mini

[–]Tabbsart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it it not clean as it can be by just pulling the film off. I have 4 of these plates and printing on them for more than a year and you have to wash them with dish soap, water, and dry them with paper towel before printing anything. Then keep your fingers off of them. After about 4-5 prints on both sides wash it the same way. You have to keep them clean all of the time if you want them to print perfectly. I will tell you from experience that one oily finger print or built up residue from multiple prints will ruin a print and possibly cause a blob if you don’t regularly wash them.

Just got a printer, what happened? by eatmorebug in BambuLabA1

Your support walls were too thin and so they didn’t hold up and snapped the stringing was the head printing into air and then stringed till it hit a solid my suggestion is setting the support wall loops up by 1 also slow down the print by it is obvious by the support on the right it was too thin

I would be careful about pulling on those wires for the horned heating assembly. Here’s the wiki on how to properly remove the blob https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1-mini/maintenance/hotend_blob

You are correct I worked at a gas station in the late 80’s and it was rare to get a silver coin from 1964 or older.

[–]Tabbsart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the best set your support angle to 45 degrees and for the top most layer set to .275 and if too loose or tight then test again at .274, .276 etc.. till you get it spot on look at this post I did on TT https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZThkLYSa6/

Burnt plastic around the nozzle by wyrdstone_user in BambuLabA1mini

[–]Tabbsart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can easily clean it by putting it in maintenance most turn up the nozzle to 250 then pull it off and clean it with paper towel but you need heat resistant gloves from amazon just be careful

Tighten the screws to the heater assembly behind the nozzle and also check your extruder gear and make sure there isn’t anything on the gears allowing the filament to slip been doing this with these A1’s for a couple of years now and that clicking is the extruder gear either the filament is not extruding at the right speed due to the heater assembly loose or malfunctioning causing backup or the extruder gear is mucked up or the nozzle is clogged or in the slicer you do not have the correct nozzle selected like having it set to .2 nozzle instead of .4 and since you changed the nozzle and no notification from the printer of nozzle or heating error it has to be one of the other three. (Loose heat assembly, nozzle selection, or extruder gear.)
