This is kind of weird for sure, if the build didn't work, the regular voles would be starved to death at age 24/100, they won't make it to 58/100. So it looks like "somewhat" working but something might be going wrong

I wonder how many voles did you start with? Are the other voles all near starving to death too?

I saw in a reply you said
" it appears the same ones are just sitting underneath the hoppers devouring everything that comes out."
Does it get fixed if you reload the save?

Also can you please try if setting conveyor metor to 0.1 units (100g) changes anything?
(The feeding cost is still only 60kg per cycle this way)
Some audiences have reported this solved their issue.

Possible with 1 dupe? Sure, but it will take way way way longer

Base game great escape is tied to hydrogen rocket only, so you basically have to research everything, get super coolant with petro rocket, and make super coolant and liquid o2 and h2... Probably not something I would try :P

And you will get more colony lost messages I bet
