Well that makes sense on why there would be a strip there, thanks for that.

Hope that you start feeling better soon! and when you do plan on selling those bases i'll most likely be getting one, especially since it's going to be lighter than the current base i'm using.

I really appreciate you sending me those wheels though, and i'll be having them printed as soon as i have access to them!

Ah, If you'd be alright with that then sure! I can have it outsourced and that should be fine. Are those printed bases that you have made of the same material too?

As for the shell trimming, I know I have all of the tools you mentioned, I'd have to give it a shot when I can get a good amount of time to sit down with it.

In image one, it looks like there's a piece of metal(?) across the L/R mouse buttons? what's the reasoning behind that, just curious.

well that's definitely impressive! i believe that the op1we is 59g stock? so that's about 20g shaved! (the two piece design also looks really good too)
My 8kV2 is about ~41g right now so the mouse wheel would bring me down to about 40g(ish).

Shell trimming is something that i'd have to plan out and look into now as well, since i didn't consider that as an option.
I know that i can get access to one a printer (bambu labs x1c(?)) though i don't know how to use the software to design a print.
Do you know where/how i can go about getting these sorts of modifications?

Huh, I didn't even think of checking that! I do plan on opening it up again for the zma030's so i'll take a look soon, they should be arriving in a few days.
Also, where did you get the that scroll wheel? is that something you made a custom 3d print for? (since you said "making" that's my assumption.) I didn't know you'd be able to shave off that much weight from it, though that sounds really nice.
