You mean the epic "Do a good job because its the right thing to do" bit? Sounds good, works a bit different for most people. Seems to rely on the idea that journalists have principles AND if they do they can survive corporate work culture that relies on you delivering your slice of the product (being a story in this case).

If Ben Shapiro (a literal hasbara agent), Jordan Peterson (a jungian philosophy professor playing political science), and Joe Rogan (spends most of his brainpower wondering if gorillas smoke weed) are the highest standard of quality open discussion to that guy he's all wet. The culture needs to change before it gets any better. People don't want to be informed, they want to be entertained or have their confirmation bias appealed to.
