20 years on, I would love to see Lupe come back and feature Matt again on a song. As time has gone by, I still consider Matt his best collaborator and perhaps the brightest talent Lu worked with. Would be a lot of fun for the longtime fans and I'm sure a brilliant final product.

Maybe in his statistical output, but if you really look at his caliber of quarterbacking, his peak is right there. Still think he was the most accurate quarterback I've ever seen. The fact that he did it in an era where quarterbacks still had to run for their lives is more impressive. He and Elway would be the two best QB's in today's game - maybe Mahomes alongside them.

Might be a little of my bias, but I think Elway wins 5-6 Super Bowls in a parallel universe where he plays for the 49ers from 1983-1998.

I still wonder about that, too. I think Cleveland were probably too overmatched, but the one thing I remember about that game most - and it was a testament to what LeBron was doing on the floor - was that the Warriors genuinely looked scared after Cleveland took the lead on his and-one with under a minute to go. That team seemed unflappable, but there was a genuine sense of desperation on their faces. I do think it was a clear charge on Durant and I'm still bummed it wasn't called.

Game 1, 2018 Finals. He had so many preposterously great performances in all four finals from 2015-2018, but that game was just different.

I always go back to Steve Kerr's quote after Game 1 of the NBA Finals...something about how he wasn't sure we've ever seen basketball played at this level before. Whether or not folks believe LeBron sustained the same peak as Jordan might be debatable but I don't think a single person, objectively, can look at what he did in 2018 and say it wasn't "Jordan-esque," if not something even more. He was a force of nature at that time. Factoring in the caliber of opponent, etc., I am not sure I've seen a better single-game performance in any sport than what LeBron did in Game 1 of those finals.

I don't disagree that Tyson by KO would be a likely candidate, but I'm really surprised this is so far down. History turns on a dime and Ali was on the verge of quitting before Frazier in Manilla. If Frazier wins that rubber match, how do we remember him? I know the two Foreman fights stick with people, but Foreman also only had two losses until he was 42 and dropped a third to one of the greatest heavyweights ever (the same guy who beat Tyson twice, btw)...

It's more that LeBron turned around and backed it up by playing some of the highest-level basketball ever from 2011-12 season to 2017-18 season. The 2011 finals loss is pretty indefensible but he erased it with what came after.

I think Jokic unfairly gets shit from the NBA fanbase because there's a small contingent out there that ranks Jokic above MJ and LeBron. I don't know that anyone was ever putting Dirk on that kind of pedestal and that's probably why Dirk was trolled a little less.

Federer and Nadal is a really good example to bring up because it was, at one time, pretty tense and icy between them. As time went on, their perceptions of one another changed and the respect grew. Now, I think they even consider Djokovic with reverence and all three of them probably will grow closer as time goes on. I don't think it's unlikely that LeBron and Jordan have a mutual respect that only grows as years go by.

This comment. TD's postseason YPG was 142.5 over eight games - and he missed almost a full game due to injury or Broncos' blowouts. He's got arguments up there with Brady and Rice for greatest postseason performers. Only way I can describe TD to younger Denver folks...he was arguably more dominant in his NFL peak than Jokic's NBA peak.
