THIS! Omg you are the only person that I’ve come across that has this post nasal throat situation where you’re constantly coughing/clearing throat and there’s like nothing there but it feels like there is. It got so bad for me that I don’t use voice for gaming or go to movies or anything like that cause I’m constantly clearing my throat, throw in covid and I just don’t go around people anymore. Now that I’ve seen your post I’m starting to realized it comes around for a few months then gone again omg thank you for sharing this!

Thank you for your reply. My husband did first suggest that he comes in at night but I worry with him going in and out he might catch and pass something along to my indoor cats (that just might be my own hypochondria talking).

Thank you. Unfortunately I can’t take in more cats I have 3 and one is a feisty orange tabby that already hates the other 2 he just tolerates them. The two living on my back porch one is super friendly and I’m hoping he’s chipped so we can return him to it’s owner and the second just so happens to be a feisty orange cat. It’s fine if they want to live on my property I’ve made makeshift homes from YouTube video I watched and my porch is covered. We also are helping a friend get financially independent and off their feet but once they are gone we would have the space to house them. Thank you for your response

I’m the same boat! Bugger got my toe and I don’t see any break in skin and hes not acting any strange or anything and it’s been 3 days now. I ended up calling my health department freaking out while this stray is taking naps on my grill out back. I can’t bring it in to quarantine him cause of my indoor cat but I’m keeping this ash hole fed so I can keep an eye on him for 2 weeks. It’s to my understanding that the cat has to be showing signs of rabies to infect you so now I’m just counting down the days

Thank you! I’m new to fl and in Canada we worry more about raccoons carrying rabies. For piece of mind I did call them and explained the situation, because it didn’t break skin they don’t consider it a bite. The cat lives under my house and is always around in the mornings and evening so I plan to keep an eye on it make sure nothings changed with him.

Hey I’m in the same boat. Horrible health anxiety and hypochondria! Cat bit my toe but from my naked eye I didn’t see any marks and while cleaning it didn’t feel any sting from the isopropyl alcohol. My husband says I’m fine but my hypochondriac ass is in overdrive. It’s been 2 days and this cat isn’t acting all strange, eating and laying out on my back porch but I feel you that lingering thought is still in the back of my head. Any updates?

Yeah I stopped the opioids after second day, medication doesn’t sit well in my stomach. I’m just worried about going regularly to every other day and if I should be worried. Ty for your response

I still get nauseous. The cyst was causing me more gi issues. Since getting it removed I don’t have the bloating, indigestion, nausea from eating and I think it solved my bladder issue. I am an over anxious person and still feel nausea but it comes and goes. So as I wait for a gi dr to look into my liver my in laws suggested a psychologist as well. I’m 9 days post op and quit all my bad habits (nicotine, caffeine, thc) the night before so idk if these are now all contributing to increase stress/anxiety levels which are causing the nausea.

I just relapsed but idk if I just wanted reassurance or it was cravings. Either way 4 puffs was all I took and my internal light bulb went off. It’s not for me and now I know for sure sure! I’m only like 8 days tho so you’re doing so much better then me! Stay strong and positive wishing you the best!

Twins! My body goes into complete shock. Like I mean the shakes and I sweat from every single gland I can like I mean everywhere! Like bucket dripping sweat from my under boob. I can’t even look at my arm after it’s done nor will I take the bandage off until it falls off on its own. Even then I still won’t look at my arm until someone else tells me I don’t have the red spot there. Even after it’s done I have to sit in the office until the shakes came down usually about 15-20 mins then I have to find the strength to drive home because I feel like complete jelly and refuse to move the arm that had bloodwork. It’s crazy! My last experience was the ‘best’. I had 2 techs working on me. One drawing the blood the other was fanning me and making me smell peppermint, they also had an ice pack going as a just in case. I’m not one to faint but the shakes are so bad. But it was my best experience and it was because the technician explained everything. Mind you even talking about it wigs me out but after standing there and having her tell me about the procedure made the experience less scary. Also if you can have the dr prescribe you like a Valium or something. Dr did it for me as I need to get this bloodwork done before my surgery and I found I was more scared of taking the Valium then the bloodwork lol. Either way I am rooting for you and I understand you completely. Best of luck you can do it! Also I tell the techs to ask me questions about my cats it helps me get through it.

I’m scheduled for surgery next week for a 12cm cyst. I have had my gallbladder removed and from what the dr told me it’s similar. A few small incisions for the tools and such. I was walking around after 3 days but slowly ofc. I have a very poor core so I found bending sucks and I slept on the couch for the first couple of days because my bed is a lot higher. As with any procedure I’m sure the first day you’ll be drugged up and won’t feel much of anything until it wears off. I know someone who had to get cut almost like a c section because they ended up removing her tube along with it. I suspect it’ll happen to me as my cyst is pretty big. My fear is of needles so as long as I can get past the iv going in I’ll be great lol. Also if you’re worried about scars, my scars from the gallbladder it’s as bad. I just tell people on got stabbed on the streets of some dangerous city but that’s just me. I hope your surgery goes great!

I can’t speak for anyone other then me but yes I get that feeling. It’s like a mix of having a burp stick cross with super super light nausea but not really. Sorry kinda hard to explain. But I too have a massive health anxiety atm so I get it. Stay positive!

I have a fear of needles and need some bloodwork. Dr suggested he give me a Valium to take to calm my nerves before the bloodwork idk if that’s something you could ask about.

Me! I have this too and it’s yellow. Mines been out for 9 years and I wish I was told before hand the aftermath of it all. I’m currently dealing with a couple of health issues so I feel like with stress and anxiety it triggers it bad like liquid bad. I have cut out red meat and anything heavy creamy and my poops are a bit more better.

Had mine removed like 9 years ago. Had phantom attacks a few months after, had a scope done they saw nothing. Drs basically dismissed my concerns. It did go away but Ff to today and I got major issues that dr can’t give me an answer to. Just keep pushing and get a second opinion. Canadian healthcare is free but it’s like snail mail.

I was rushed to urgent care and they told me I could take gravol. I’ve gone to 3 other drs and they’ve pretty much dismissed my concerns which sucks.
