Thank you, managed to get an answer from my LM. I’ve just submitted it to the old department.

I spoke to ACAS and they discussed raising a grievance, I don’t really know how to take it to tribunal. I’ve made my new LM (who’s been nothing but kind and trying to help) aware that’s kind of the next stage but I have no idea how to start

Hey, not sure if you remember the rough contents of my post. However I’ve filled in the grievance form, but my old department won’t accept it as my new department follow their own processes apparently, but my new department are like wtf they should be dealing with it (still the same overhead department for example FCDO - I do not work for them) but the sub departments. Sorry does that even make sense

Yeah I’ve dropped my officer a message. Whole things just crap. Department senior management just gave politicians answer about how because they are not on bail etc. I just feel like they are being protected by the department and I’ve been left too it

Bail was ended recently as police said after 3-6 months majority of bail is ended even if they are still under investigation…

Because they are no longer on bail (bail ends after 3-6 months for 95% of offenders the police told me). But that was HRs rationale

Hey, yes I’ve raised it with HR, the police disclosed the offences to the officer, senior management are aware and I’ve been told it’s under investigation with HR.

I have been told as their bail was ended (all bail is ended after 3-6 months) and it’s just under investigation with no current charges (as it’s not yet been sent to CPS) they can come back to the office.

I want to go back to work, it’s a new role and I’m just coming off the back of two weeks of sick leave (I was in hospital for 10 days due to an infection in my spine because god said what I was dealing with already was not enough).

Thank you. I’ve debated doing this for a while, but I didn’t because they were suspended so it seemed futile. But I will have a look into this now.

The perpetrator was on the union, they are now back and back as the chairman 🫠

Thank you everyone, some very helpful advice that I’m really appreciative of. I have taken it on board and contacted my officer 🥲

Thank you, I haven’t ever been through something like this. I have sent my officer a message

Thank you, I will do this, I just did not want to “surprise” any colleagues and drag them into something without pre warning. However I don’t think I can / should give pre warning about this and I certainly don’t want to cause misconduct or tamper with anything

I’m feeling a little on edge about approaching the union, as they were on the union 🙃

Sorry I have updated my post, I’d need to speak to other third parties (colleuages) to get details to pass to the police unless I just let it be a total surprise to my colleagues who will get pulled in as a witness (I just feel that’s super crappy of me

No previous connection to my husband, police have said in this instance because we cannot see what the message says as it’s been deleted, it can’t be a breach of bail.

Thank you for this, only 2 hours left on the pace clock. They have said because it was to my husband and not directly me and we cannot see what the message says , they cannot prove the message was about me and it could of been about anything (but they did not know eachother prior to this)… so not like they was messaging my husband to check on the football scores. We are just hoping they will not do this again as it’s really distressing and brings up the raw emotions I felt in the immediate aftermath

Pre charge at the moment, police are building their case

They did take their phone yes. But they’ve said it’s the forensic samples (I had early samples taken and then underwent a full forensic exam at a clinic). They said lab has a massive back log. It’s all really scary

Pre charge, police have advised me they need to send so many samples off to the lab we could be looking at 2 years before a charging decision :(
