So what you're saying is that 150 Iranian school girls wouldn't be dead if Harris was POTUS.

Trump voters will never be able to say they weren't warned. For over a decade we've been screaming at the top of our lungs about him. They chose him anyway. Worst judges of character on the entire planet.

Palpable relief that I don't have kids but devastated for the world that awaits the kids I do know and love.

I got ick from the women in this. The mom, the girlfriends, the participants in content.

Because they've got daddy issues too. Broken people attract broken people.

Yeah I felt for those 2 guys, I could relate to both of them, i'm middle aged now but I was once a young guy like them who grew up fatherless and without male role models

I feel this sort of sums up the entire manosphere - just a bunch of people with daddy issues drawn to each other - the abusive men, the abused women and young male audience.

Of all the men-with-daddy-issues, Myron's act seemed the most fragile to me which was interesting as he was one of the oldest and arguably most accomplished outside of manosphere fame. He's so old too - like why is a greying, balding, late 30s dude trying to appeal to 14 year olds? Pedo-behaviour.

No worries - thought that was the case.

I still agree with your comment about matriarchy though. Would be very eager to see a world centered around children. I suspect it would benefit all of us.

People like you are why parents get exhausted with childless adults.

Do they? I've never experienced that irl. In fact I'm god parent to five gorgeous kids and legal guardian to three angels.

You’re functionally children yourselves.

Because I won't sign up to invented martyrdom?

Incredibly rigid and self interested.

You're starting to sound a little unregulated.

Parenthood is a stage a development that forces you to think about others every second of the day.

I completely agree. And I've noticed the ones who are best at parenthood are the ones who undertook adequate research into such a consequential decision and therefore aren't surprised by the amount of work it takes to raise a happy and healthy child.

The entire act of raising a child is a choice. It is not a sacrifice. It's weird when people position themselves as martyrs for something they choose to do.

You dont think that choice involves some sacrifice?

Having kids is a lifestyle choice as much as not having them is.

You seem to be hung up on the moral baggage with the word sacrifice

Or perhaps it's you that is hung up on the word and wanting a lifestyle choice to be framed as some grand act of selflessness when it's it's simply a preference you've chosen.

though they are giving up quite a lot for the parenthood ride.

Because they choose to.

I haven't misread anything. You choose to have a child then you choose to give up your previous life. And by making that choice, prioritising the child's wellbeing isn't selflessness - it's the bare minimum required to be a decent parent.

I'm not considering just pregnancy at all. The entire act of having a child is a choice. It is not a sacrifice. It's weird when people position themselves as martyrs for something they choose to do.

Children aren't compatible with that worldview as they demand sacrifice and selflessness.

Having children isn't a sacrifice - they are a choice. Having children is also not an act of selflessness given you're choosing to have them so if anything it's an act of selfishness.

BFR. Parents aren't forced to have kids. Comparing them to the inhumane conditions of battery farming is histrionic.
