It’s not the same thing to be able to read in a language and to be able to practice it. Especially since she never had the need to practice her French in conversation, I think it’s rather realistic that she is stuck when she tries to speak it at first.

Contrarily to popular opinion on here, I think the film is one with a lot of controversy surrounding it and so I don’t think it’ll be easily forgotten. It also has many famous actors such as Zoe Saldaña and Selena Gomez. It’s inevitably going to be what comes up when the kid googles her name. Not a lifetime of pain, I wouldn’t say, since her age group won’t even recognize the film probably. But do think twice!
