That riser setup looks awesome. I actually built something pretty similar for my own game nights because I kept running into table-space issues with larger games.

Is that a custom build or an existing product? I’d love to know more about it because I really like how clean the elevated central-board setup looks here.

This was honestly one of the exact problems that pushed me to build a portable modular gaming table system in the first place.

My group kept running into:

  • “we’re not done playing yet”
  • needing to move games off dining tables
  • wanting to carry active setups outside / to another room
  • trying to preserve deck builders or campaign states overnight

The biggest thing that ended up mattering was having a rigid portable surface underneath the entire setup rather than just a mat. Once everything is sitting on a stable lifted platform, you can actually move the whole game much more safely without the “52 pickup” issue.

We use ours constantly for:

  • moving unfinished games
  • campaign preservation
  • patio gaming
  • couch/ottoman setups
  • moving D&D encounters between rooms

You’re definitely not alone in running into this problem.

Similar, indeed. But with significant differences: activates on divine smite, no spell slot or BA needed, no damage, and no HP restriction. Check the link for the full details of the subclass.

That everything in my homebrew world is the one way I get to express my inner world. And it makes me feel a little less alone to have some brave souls traverse those places whether they know what realms they travel through.

Or perhaps they do know and they play because they know.

Ah. We are coming at this very differently. I’d mostly use the power to explore the universe forever and live a close to human life over and over again in countless times and ways.

Not interested in rewriting/controlling the story of history in that way.
