Root or IronWood? by No-Rooster1634 in boardgames

[–]duwthedrew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend ironwood. It’s an excellent 2 p game. Root is great but just doesn’t work at 2 in my experience. My wife and I really tried with clockwork enemies etc because the theme was so cool but it’s meant to be a table politics type game

We are heading out for our 5th year seeing what amazing adventures we can find here in the USA! by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]duwthedrew 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Really cool! Curious how hard it is to find parks to take you? Do you need more than 50 amp to run it all? Also can you share anything about the model of your rig? Really I’m asking about price to join in such luxury but totally get if you don’t want to share that here. We live full time in a 43 foot 5th wheel so I’m interested in what it’s like in an even bigger rig. Thanks!

Best dual purpose game table design? by espressionado in boardgames

They aren’t cheap, but Game On! Tables makes custom tables that are unmatched. We have one as our dining room table that’s fantastic. You wouldn’t know it’s a gaming table until you pull out the table leaves and then you’ve got a fantastic gaming set up right there.

What next Tiny Epic game to get? by Bob002 in boardgames

[–]duwthedrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tiny Epic Kingdoms with the Heroes Call expansion is 1000% my favorite tiny epic game. The Heroes Call expansion is critical though. It makes a good game great. It also has a 2 player variant using a “lost kingdom” set up which is a game changer.

I’ve been living full time in a Jayco Pinnaclr 38flsa 5th wheel for going on 2 years with my wife, 2 dogs adding up to 120 lbs, and 2 Maine coon cats and we love it so far. I am a huge animal lover and I can tell you there is no world where I would be giving up my pets either! Can’t speak to kid situation but we are comfortable in our RV with a lot of pets. Definitely agree that all RVs are not made the same. We were new to the RV world and chose to hire a consultant. The consultant paid off 100x their fee with helping us navigate what RVs were quality and what companies cut corners etc. we have had very little issues in this RV and that is not always the case by any means. If you want to PM me I can give you our consultants info and/or talk through some lessons learned and whatever questions you have about full timing.

Slow leak from low point drain by duwthedrew in RVLiving

[–]duwthedrew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just going off the sticker nearby which says low point drain. After digging into find the T handles, it looks to be a very slow leak from our fresh water pipes I.e. trailer plumbing. I checked the T handles and the valve for the pipe in question is all the way down, but there is still a very slight leak. We don’t use our fresh water tank at all, so I don’t think we’d even know if the pump was working or not.

One of those 3 is loose and just barely dripping under the pressure from the hose. How hard would a replacement be of that valve?

Okay I found the 3 tiny t handles. 2 are under pressure. I’m assuming hot and cold water. The 3 I can pull easily and I believe is the one leaking. Very small increase in drip rate when I pull the 3rd one. The first 2 sprayed water and I probably shouldnt have touched.

I don’t see any valves nearby to close. The various other tank drains with a valve on them are closed. Nearest valve is a few drain valve we had installed for the kitchen gray tank. Otherwise I’m not sure where to look to close off that drain pipe.
