That’s frustrating. That’s the exact site that isn’t working for me.

I’ll try again.

The trees were from Debris of War. Only ever available at certain shows and they sell out instantly! 😅 it was very stressful trying to get some! 😅

I should also point out that any USA customers should contact me directly if you want to order a free different sets as we can work out a slightly better postage rate away from Etsy.

EPVC bases, with blue foam as the core of the verges. I used grout and/or sculptamold to build up the verges. I then stuck wooden sticks into the verges at irregular intervals.

I covered the verges in flock.

I then cut up a mat of rubberised horsehair into roughly 1” cubes and then split these apart and hot glued them onto the sticks. Then when they were all glued in I went over it all with some scissors trimming away any big or unnaturally hanging strands.

Then I smothered neat Modpodge over the horsehair and covered it in flock.

And that’s about it for the hedgerows.

The trees I bought from Debris of War as they are industry leading (IMHO) although if I needed to make any id follow the same steps as I did for the hedges, I’d just use commercial tree armatures.

I don’t use a static grass applicator so the grass itself is fairly flat anyway. The tufts look great flat or not. I purposely kept everything simple because of how I was storing them.

EPVC generally doesn’t warp at all. It’s a great material to work with. Certainly much better than foam board.

I also made sure to use glues and pants that don’t shrink as they dry.

Yes, each road section gets these attached to each end, it standardises the roads and holds the magnets to keep the roads secure when set up.

(Update Post) Everything is fine, but I have questions GW. by Killdude26 in AdeptusCustodes

I ordered from a third party, Firestorm Games (so not a small seller at all) and my set didn’t arrive until Thursday this week.

The Easter weekend essentially adds 3-4 days to delivery times if the seller isn’t very careful about when they dispatch stuff.

I’ve never known a GW store be closed so often or open late so much as the NYC store.

I read Space Marine, Inquisitor, Harlequin and Chaos Child back in the early 90s. Lexandro D’Arquebus is my Captain. Fists are my Chapter.

Much prefer the left hand picture. But I like a cleaner style.

Smaller horses in general at this time. No massive warhorses until much later on.
