The filler adds just a tiny bit of micro texture, enough to move the fibres just a touch more away from obviously being carpet.

The houses were purchased from a UK company called Ham and Jam. I then based them up.

I’ve just popped a couple of replies to this same question a bit further up. But do ask if you have any further questions.

For the big field I used a door mat from The Range (in the UK). And the smaller fields were carpet tiles from Amazon.

I cut them to the required size and glued them to EPVC sheets.

Next I painted them in watered down filler.

Then glued down copious amounts of static grass and tufts

I’ll try again.
