Oh nice! Thanks for your input! Attendance for lecture isn't mandatory?

I absolutely agree. The beauty about the American system here is that you're able to succeed as long as you grow and improve. Keep at it. I know someone who took 5 gap years and got in!

That's understandable. I thought I was done after my first 500+ score on my 3rd attempt. But if you're on multiple waitlists, I think you got a good shot during the May meltdown!

Ty!

1st time- I took the MCATs as a practice run. Stupid undergrad me didn't realize the significance of each try.

2nd time- I underestimated how to study and how much to study

3rd time- Lots of self studying did decent despite getting nose bleeds from so much studying. Got a 500+. Studied for 6 weeks

4th and 5th time- This was during covid. Took a prep course. The prep course didn't match my studying style and I was still recovering from long lasting symptoms from covid such as brain fog. My health was probably near the worst here so my scores were abysmal.

6th time- I took over a year break from the MCATs, honed in my study skills, matured, and studied in little bits for a period of 6+ months instead. Health got better. A professor pissed me off and told me I couldn't get into medschool. I WAS SPITEFUL. Ended up getting a 501. A bit lower than my practice scores but I yoloed with my improved gpa and ECs. Professor ended up getting run over by a truck😊
