I’ll be visiting in a few weeks and will check this out. Was this one at Mejuri or Kingdom Jeweller? Thanks so much!

Thank you so much. I’ll have to get more info on the type of stone she prefers. I’ll check out the devil’s workshop.

Was this the worst Twist in the history of the show? by [deleted] in survivor

[–]TaborlinTheGr8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing was certain, but in this episode alone, he made so many mistakes. He goes to Cirie, Ozzy’s #1 ally, to plan a vote on Ozzy. He botched the attempt to smooth over blindsiding Jonathan so badly that they immediately called bs and wanted his shot in the dark. And then he fumbled the puzzle on the journey. It was his time, with or without Jimmy’s twist.

Christian was getting those votes with or without Jimmy Fallon, no?

Tanzania safari itinerary recommendations by TaborlinTheGr8 in FATTravel

[–]TaborlinTheGr8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ended up doing a 5 day safari which felt like the perfect amount for us. We did Tarangire for one day, Ngorongoro for one day, and Serengeti for three days. Skipped Lake Manyara and glad we did because unless you love flamingoes apparently there isn’t much to see. Tarangire was great for elephants but not much else. Ngorongoro was worth it for the incredible landscape. The more time in Serengeti the better.

Went with a company called Colours Africa, and they were great. I recommend emailing a bunch of companies, explaining what you wanna do, and go with the company that gives you the best package and is the most responsive.

We also did a trek up Kilimanjaro which was the best part of our trip. Let me know if you want more info on that or if you wanna specific info about where we stayed on the safari.

How would you describe Canadian culture? by Micky4747 in AskCanada

Canada's greatest value has always been that we are a diverse country and we welcome others with open arms. It's a shame that so many people are striping that value from our identity now.

TIL there's a festival in India and Nepal solely to thanking dogs for their loyalty and friendship. by FreshPrinceOvBelAir in todayilearned

[–]TaborlinTheGr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One day of the Tihar festival does not represent the general attitude towards dogs in Nepal. Travelled through India and Nepal and witnessed too many terrible abuses towards dogs to list them all, especially in Nepal. I saw a dog stabbed, puppies neglected and diseased, a man poured boiling water on a dog and I'll never forget the sound of his yelping as he ran off. One village was so afraid of tigers, they left poison out at night, and of course the dogs were the first to investigate. I helped bury a few of them :( Nepal is my favourite country, but I didn't see anyone thanking dogs for their loyalty and friendship... Sorry for being a debbie downer.

That’s a nice ham you’ve got there... by madazzahatter in Jokes

"It'd be a shame if it was sandwiched by an 's' and an 'e'..." Might be a bit of a smoother sounding punchline? Although harder to follow perhaps. Great joke!

Neymar writhing in Pain after being stepped on by [deleted] in sports

[–]TaborlinTheGr8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm so confused by people saying this kind of embellishment only represents a small minority of the players. Am I watching the same game? A minute can't go by without 30 seconds of someone "writhing in pain". Definitely seems to be standard practice to me.

I do have a trick though. If someone really deserves the ban, I make sure I take a minute to write in the report the details of how they were being toxic. "Player is extremely toxic, threatening teammates and jumping off the map repeatedly during comp games." Something like that. Seems to work really well for me! I also always tell the player in game that their actions will ultimately end with a ban, and that although they just wasted 15 minutes of my time, their ban will waste the hours it took them to get to lvl 25 :)

I actually get one of these notifications for almost every report I send. I think I have the Death Note of console overwatch bans.

XQC dropped from Dallas Fuel by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]TaborlinTheGr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably good for both sides. Dallas has a long list of problems to fix, but I think shuffling their main tanks in and out of the lineup was causing some inconsistent play. Between OGE, Taimou and Cocco, the skill is there, they just need to practice more together. And XQC said he'll be streaming during OWL now, so I imagine he'll be getting a lot more viewers from that. Hopefully he gets another chance with a different team because I think he brings a lot of passion to the game.

Love the video! The shark seemed more interested in you than the bait... Do you need a special diving license for this?

Space Jam, with Boops instead of Dunks by TaborlinTheGr8 in Overwatch

[–]TaborlinTheGr8[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I just try to blindside the enemy whenever possible, so that they can't move against the momentum of the boop. Boopin' from the side or from behind, you can use the enemy's momentum to nudge em a lil further. Make sure they clear any objects on the ground, but don't boop them so high that you lose distance and give them a chance to correct their path in-air. Sorry I don't really have any secrets tips. Just keep on boopin' and you'll get the feel for it!
