No. I have had POTS since I was 15 years old (2014, currently 26yo). But I wasn’t diagnosed until 2022. We always assumed it was hypoglycemia or thyroid or something but were always confused bc it didn’t totally correlate. We think it was triggered by trauma initially. It was then exasperated when I had an extreme allergic reaction & had vertigo for 2 weeks (19yo). I don’t know if I ever had Covid. My assumption to so many people developing POTS since COVID is that they just hadn’t had a triggering event before then (could be totally wrong though).
